Double feature of two old school string slinging classics. Rock the Baby trick variations include: Rock the Baby on the Trapeze, Rock the Baby on the Eiffel Tower, World's Smallest Rock the Baby, Pyramid Rock, Rock the Baby on the Brain Twister, Split the Atom and Rock the Baby, and Rock the Baby on the Launch Pad/Launchpad. Yo-Yos used in the demo: Playmaxx Turbo Bumblebee, Duncan Dragonfly, Yoyo Factory NorthStar, and the Moose Toys Goyo Racer yoyo (dog off leash). The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "iC": The manipulator (M) intercepts the pass from A to C. The juggler who was C is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. 2. "cA": The manipulator substitutes a _pass_ from A to B. 3. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a _self_ from C (to C). The passes _from_ the feeder are not manipulated, the feeder does only normal pass throws to B, C, B

For the past weeks I have been playing around with different kick up variations. This is the result. A short video with some kick up tricks and balancing. Most still very rough, though. It took me a while to unlearn my inside throw to qualify Marden's pattern for the Open Juggling League. I like the way this one emphasizes the slap throw, so I'm uploading it :)

T.I.P. Trick in Progress (Monster Mount) - Luke Renner. Monster Mount & Castle Escape variations. Filmed in Northwest, New Mexico in June of 2016.

It´s easier for the manipulator tells AND 1 2 3 as the cC actually happens before count 1. We find it much easier to start the pattern on count 2 and miss the cC in the first round. Wolfgang (blue t-shirts) moves different on iB. Just choose your favorite style.

In case you are wondering why everything's so Japanese about the video, the reason is because we wanted to convey the message that we are very influenced by their juggling in a different way. The main idea of the video is not to copy tricks from Japanese people, but to show variations and tricks that we made based on their tricks.
