Esitys rapistuneissa sirkusväreissä/nSIRKÜS on hauska ja yllättävä kaikenikäisille katsojille sopiva lämminhenkinen sirkusparodia joka elää ja hengittää menneisyyden sirkusromantiikkaa. Esitys tarkastelee sirkushistoriaan kuin menneisyyden sirkusvaunun rikkinäisestä ikkunasta./nEsityksn esiintyjät muuttavat roolihahmojaan numerosta toiseen, näyttämölle saapuu niin pöyhkeää ranskalaista baskeripäätä kuin kurimuksessa kärsivää sirkuseläintä, ja nähdään esityksessä huima washington trapetsi -numerokin. Ironisen ivallinen mutta kuitenkin lempeä ja herkkä SIRKÜS -esitys iskee silmää yleisölle, koko estetisoiva sirkustaide ja romantisoitu sirkuskuvasto päätyvät näyttämölle koko totuudessaan. Eikä ketään varmasti häiritse, vaikka vatsastapuhuja ei ole kovin hauska, temput eivät aina onnistu, tirehtööri on ylidramaattinen ja orkesteri soittaa vähän sinne päin. Tulikoreografiat ja jättimäiset origamit luovat kuvituksen Miika Nuutisen teksteille ja Laura Vuorjoki-Elon sävellyksille. Aasialainen ja Karjalainen perinne sulautuvat yhteen ja kurkottamaan kohti uutta elävää esitystaidetta. Seitsemän esiintyjän voimin esitetty runotuliorigamikonsertti muodostaa vahvan ja tunnerikkaan kokemuksen koko teosta seuraavalle yleisölle./nEsityksen kesto noin 50 minuuttia

Que ce soit le corps du danseur, du jongleur ou celui de l’objet,
le poids seul permet de trouver l’envol : se soulever, oser la vivacité,
s’offrir l’agilité, à contrario de l’immobilité.
Et pourtant nous ne sommes pas oiseaux, la légèreté peut
se passer ailleurs que dans le battement d’ailes.
Elle peut se nicher dans les recoins de l’être, aux confins de sa danse,
de son équilibre.
On se sent alors plein d'une Légèreté cristalline, vibrante.
Et que dire du parfum des roses ?

Hope you enjoy the video. Also, please spare me the "unicycle" suggestion comments or "you should have done a 3 ball cascade" while riding no-handed comments. If you don't know anything about triathlons, then those comments are very naive, because you have no idea what a race like this entails. I spent 10 months training, researching, and fine tuning what works. Until you actually get out there and see what "works" then try to understand that what looks good on paper, doesn't always translate into good practice. Enjoy! -Joe
