Starting off with the base pattern of rotating 2 count 4 count feed, we then add the maniuplators to do 3B (Brook in blue t-shirt the B maniuplator, Steve in black t-shirt the 3 manipulator). Every 30 beats you get back to the start, and so every 30 beats the B/V manipulator (Brook at this point) switches to the other pattern and the 5 people do around of 3B/3V. We do 3B/3V/3B/3V and then try to exit the pattern.

In Aidan Notation (X, Y, Z are the jugglers):

I switch by doing the second column of the pattern I've arrived in (as manipulator) and then switching to the third column of the new pattern (and everyone responds accordingly).

A few years ago i filmed this basic Table Juggling tutorial.
The original idea was to push other jugglers to practice and film more advanced tricks inspired in using surfaces instead of air (more objects, longer periods, passing, bounce or roll...) I think the possibilities are amazing!
If you want to watch really complex table juggling there is a chapter in Social Siteswaps DVD by Gandini Juggling called Tables in Madrid that i filmed with my friend Daniel Shultz where we pass some period 10 tricks and some huge amount of objects and hard siteswaps.

This is a video of my cousins and I juggling in a talent show at a summer camp we worked at. The first bit didn't get recorded so I had to put it a little video in from a different performance of the same routine. Australian variety performer Tex Glanville, showing his bottle & plate routine. Bottle & plate was one of the routines of the gentleman jugglers, and is mentioned in some of the old juggling books, but is not common today.
Tex was an exceptional rope-spinner, as well as a juggler and slackwire artist. He also made home movies of other performers - 'Elimar the genius juggler', #832 on this site, is one of his.

The South Pasadena Jugglers invited their friends to a lovely camp in the Angeles Forest for a May 2012 juggling weekend. We had lots of fun, and got the Roundabout bouncing around in a feed again. The pattern seems to be evolving away from the feed it emerged from, spending more time in the triangle...
