(Farmington, New Mexico), registration will be at 5:30 p.m. with the contest beginning at 5:45 p.m. outside the Farmington Museum during Freedom Days! See String Theory in Action! While enjoying the Farmington Museum Foundation Ice Cream Social, take a moment to cheer on the string slingers at the Farmington Museum. The Yo Down Show Down will showcase the skills of some of our youngest museum patrons and is also open to all ages and skill levels. The contest is free to enter and is a bring your own yo-yo event. The first real day of spring. A steel door, monkey shirt and some hoop isolation. Some experiments with speed changes and hoop isolations so a lot of sloppy isos. hope you like it. Probably the last iso video in a while, i dropped my acrylic hoop and broke it :(

Recorded on friday 13 of oct. Is this oldschool? Anyway it is not the hard stuff when using a hand-rail. Just used my small old trainingballs but the movement is clean. hope u like it!

Lisa A Yo-Yo Trick - A new trick for a new year created by Luke Renner and posted January 1st 2014. Routine is an original choreographed work. This move is lots easier to do if you turn with the staff to slow down the spin. That said you will still probably hit yourself in the face learning it. When you are raising your arms back up to roll the staff down th inside of your arm, try to be as controlled as possible because that is the most likly place you will hurt yourself. Mind you if you already do staff another couple of knocks won't make any difference.

Learn the steve, horizontal propellers and a horizontal angel roll. Put them together. Turning with the spin of the staff slows it down and gives you more time to position for the next part of the move.

Drilling BtN (behind the neck) variations of things. It's still bumpy but progress is being made, slowly but surely. Posting on the web for concrit and tips from other jugglers.
I start by showing the normal move I am doing/attempting, then proceed with attempted BtN variations of that move.

Stalling fishtails is a nice way to go into other moves and can be the saving grace when you cock them up. If the staff starts sliding off your hand go into a stall and strike some cheesy pose (everybody loves cheese) and then just carry on. Throws are quite nice from stalls but you can also go into a halo roll or many varients thereof

I deeply love bbb but I had to stop practicing it long ago (2008) due to sustained wrist injuries and alas there is no videos of me in my prime.
Adam inspired me to film a few old tricks at Turbo so tonight I grabbed my balls for the first time since 2011 and tried to film them. I managed to learn a new one and do another one for the first time ever! This video contains those, a few old 3bbb tricks and a few 4bbb clips from 2011 when I failed to start seriously again (you can see the evolution of my beard)./n It's been a pleasure to see the new kids push the boundaries and I have no regret, thanks to my injuries I've started rings and rarely look back upon my bbb days even though they were amazing moments. So it's with no shame that I announce my official retirement from the bbb world, have fun doing it, I'll the happy to join you for a few seconds once in a while. /nThanks a lot for all your support in my challenge with Norbi, I've got 90 new suscribers in 3 days and 700 to go in 10 days!
