A little free performance I did at the JJF. I didn't have much time to make it but I tried to throw in some harder stuff than my championship routine to test it out. Gonna work on completely new tricks for next year and keep them out of videos so there's a bit more impact when seeing them, a lot of this stuff has been done to death now.

An short yo-yo video made back in 2006, for an online competition. It used the (as-then) new aNy Miroc yo-yo, one of the first production models to use what are now known as hubstacks. The video got first place and has since been cited as the inspiration for Yoyofactory's adoption of hubstacks on their own models.

I made this video because I wanted to try putting some effort into the production side of things and because I had a bunch of clips I wanted to show certain individuals. Because I had no one in particular in mind to show all of this stuff to, the video has an ADHD feel to it that I like.
For the record, the juggling here is pretty respectably difficult, the straps are respectably intermediate, and the wheel stuff is laughably simple. This is in line with how often I practice each of them as well as the total length of time I've been working on each.

Video #14 of the [Juggling] series, and the first in over 2 months. As usual, the tricks just reflect what I've been practicing over the past time, and as such, this one is only Balls, Rings, and Clubs (my new Radical Fish clubs to be exact), but all the tricks here are twice as good as in ANY of my later videos. Normally I'm not a fan of people posting their artistic research and normally I would never post anything that wasn't carefully edited. I have no idea why I'm posting this or who would find it interesting but I've been working on a new act and going through old video clips looking for forgotten ideas. This is literally 3:58 of pure improv. One late night, one shot, one song, an empty room, lot of caffeine, a little juggling and a few emotions. There are drops. There are moments that are self-indulgent and overdone. Technical jugglers you will not like this. You guys that are interested in pure process may find it interesting.

Since many years i working on the ContactStaff. Although i can say that it is the best staff what is made and balanced especially for contact technique, i still haven't been satisfied. At the last two months i made two innovations, what makes this staff the ultimate contact staff with the new connection and the special aluminum alloy, mix with the experience of weighting and creating contact staffs.

I only just realized exactly how long it's been since my last big serious juggling video. WAYYY too long. So i cleared my schedule for last night and got to work editing one of the big video projects I had in the works, Android Hell 2. Showing off my improved angled surface apparatus, and showing all the new tricks I've managed to learn with it. Enjoy!

This was the second time I had been to a festival in New Zealand. The first time was last year, and I wandered around the country until the next one. I met heaps of people and then got to see many of them one last time here in Raglan. I had the best time! I really miss you all.

One more year we bring you our Collaboration Video. Spanish diabolo players from all around the country and even abroad team up for an almost 10 minutes video.
This year we pay tribute to Kukutza III (in Bilbao), an occupied cultural center that has been providing a mixed and wide cultural alternative for many years in a working-class neighbourhood. It's been evicted and next demolished in September 2011. http://kukutza.blogspot.com/
We also want to dedicate this to all the people suffering the consequences of a crisis and the ones taking the streets to protest. Don't give up; we can.

This is a family of tricks that are part cascade or fountain, and part shower or pseudoshower, which are good tricks for learning numbers juggling. They are stepping stones between the easier tricks you can do, and target numbers trick you wish to do.
Pseudoshower?! Twin to the shower, it has even high throws and odd period, instead of odd high throws and even period.
The four families of hybrids are, the cascade-shower, the cascade-pseudoshower, the fountain-shower, and the fountain-pseudoshower.
The inf. pseudoshower 3: 1818181 could have been added to the lower right section, on top.
I like all of these tricks, but haven't seen them described this way before.
I also performed 8888181 and 8888881 in Ten Years of Not Juggling, shown on the board. In that film I also performed 6: 99919191, and 5: 88171717, 6: 88881717, 7: 88888817, and also 6: 889191, and 7: 888891, which differ in having shower throws higher than the fountain throws.
