the twelfth annual diabolo.ca collaboration video celebrating the thirteenth anniversary of the D.ca forum./ndiabolo jugglers from many different countries are here sharing their tricks with all of us. Now it is time to celebrate even that this video is published way late and unfortunately doesn't have all the clips that were sent for the 2017 collaboration project in the first place. Sorry for that but I wasn't able to do much about that. Some say better late than never and some might still dissagree but try to enjoy this Late Reduced remix of Diabolo.ca Collaboration video 2017. 3d4c #2 (3 diabolos 4 clips number 2). Actually you could also say 3d6c, it depends on how you count. These tricks aren't the newest, but I personally find that they are pretty cool and good looking. (They are also pretty hard ^^.)

Oh yea one more thing, I am sorry for the bad line transition during the cloning clip, even after 1 hour of looking for the effect to make it gone I couldn't figure out what I need to do, so if anyone of you guys knows how this works for Premiere Elements, please tell me :)

A pass pass self feeding 3 count scrambled style pattern. Lots of fun, moderate difficulty. After filming it was decided that there should be a style guide set to do the "zip zip" as behind the back and then in front.

The hatstand made its debut at chocfest 7, where I was compering. After a period of prototyping and refining, I built the version that worked. I demoed this a couple of times then it broke. I replaced the elastic and set it up for the big day, used it on stage and it worked, then broke next time I used it.
Be prepared to spend significant tinkering time in between uses, and for frequent breakdowns. That said, it's never let me down when I've needed it.
All in all I've found it a great way to get chicks[1], if you don't count the long evenings spent honing the design and strewing the house with geeky construction equipment, and the fact you'll be laughed out of most nightclubs if you go in wearing a topper. But on stage it works, and it has drawn admiring glances from fellow jugglers and even won us a bag full of croissants on one occasion.

4,3 & 2 ball patterns based on Pich's theory on 4 balls spin-spin and anti-spin + more techniques about changing independently the direction of the spins of the balls or hands.

A new pattern created using Aidan notation. The manipulators in this pattern are dependent, as clubs are taken by one manipulator and replaced by the other.
4 count static Y base, with B at the back of the Y, D in the middle of the Y, A on the left of the Y (from the point of view of D and B) and C on the right. Aiden notation for the pattern:

In which Brook finally accepts Mark will never learn interesting siteswaps and they do a bunch of 1-count and 2-count. With apologies to the Highgate jugglers for my betrayal of ambidexterity!
Filmed in November 2016 when we didn't have to rehearse the passing routine for Camvention any more and enjoyed our freedom :)
Thanks to Mark for indulging me and filming, Danny for the terrible 4 way combo that took me over two years to get good enough to actually do (and some of the other ideas), and Jon for filming a little sequence with me.
