An idea I had ages ago was to make a rolling video, and nearly a full year later and after setting up my apparatus last night, spending literally all night until 7AM screwing around with tricks on it, I have an awesome new video to show off. This is a video set to the Crystal Method track, "Weapons of Mass Distortion". It is intended for the juggling to be enjoyed WITH the music, rather than above it. This started as a rather obscure side project to my usual videos and only really got off the ground recently, when a friend wished me to help him learn how to use his camera. I'd like to thank him for filming most of the bushland scenes, and for drinking most of my coke...

Starting off with the base pattern of rotating 2 count 4 count feed, we then add the maniuplators to do 3B (Brook in blue t-shirt the B maniuplator, Steve in black t-shirt the 3 manipulator). Every 30 beats you get back to the start, and so every 30 beats the B/V manipulator (Brook at this point) switches to the other pattern and the 5 people do around of 3B/3V. We do 3B/3V/3B/3V and then try to exit the pattern.

In Aidan Notation (X, Y, Z are the jugglers):

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. For weeks after that I was sore and tired fo

This was filmed in 2005 and edited in 2009 (on here, JTV as "Will 2"). for some reason this alternate edit lives on my hard drive. I prefer this edit (it was an early one, complete with a blank space!) so maybe you'll enjoy it too. It's all ball juggling with a bit of bouncing off walls etc.

For those who don't know, show in a week is an annual event at Bath University. The arts societies have one week from the theme being announced to cast, write, and rehearse their entry. It always proves to be fun and stressful!

Apparently Martin was filming a bunch of tricks for inclusion in The Bozo Show, out of Chicago in 1975. It seems someone filmed the taping from off to the side and we get this footage. Martin does a little bit of everything. He also performs a nice handbalancing act (not seen here) in addition to this plethora of juggling tricks.
