This year I studied in Japan for 8 months and visited many cities while meeting jugglers everywhere I could. I took videos of many jugglers that I became friends with and many of them are part of the most famous Japanese jugglers. I made this video so that I could have some memories to look back and because I also wanted to show you how Japan is full of beasts. The names and social media of all jugglers are written below in case you want to check out their stuff (names are written on the YouTube video description because it doesn't fit here). Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the video and to everyone who enhanced my experience in Japan!

This is filmed at Lake Monger, facing towards Perth's CBD. The music is Roads by Portishead.
It focuses on the orbits in various juggling patterns. Every juggling pattern is a combination of one or more orbits. Each colour in a pattern corresponds to a different orbit. An orbit is simply a path that a single ball follows. For example if you follow a red ball in a particular pattern, you will see it repeats through a set path. All the red balls in the pattern follow this same path; all the green balls follow their own different path and all the blue balls follow a third separate path.
One technical note: 97531 actually consists of 5 orbits - 91 clockwise, 91 anticlockwise, 73 clockwise, 73 anticlockwise and 5. I combined the two 91 orbits and the two 73 orbits to blue and green because it simply looks much better this way.

MagiClub 13 comes to Sheffield, for Jay Gilligan and Wes Peden's juggling masterclass. This was filmed during the lunch break on the final day in about 40 minutes. Instead of asking people to just do anything, I asked them to try something from the workshop that they had learnt, or an idea that they could work into their juggling. This was on about 2 minutes notice, or less, so there are a few ideas from the workshop woven into this video.

Mystery Wrist Mount Trick - N12 MagicYoYo Shark Tutorial. About the trick... It came out in the late 90's early 2000. Alex Berenguel may be the creator of the trick. This trick has been a difficult one to have a 100% identification on the name. Thanks to Shannon Jackson and the Yossarian for their help in trying to identify the originator and name (about 95% sure on the answer). Special thanks to MagicYoYo in Shenzhen! Normally I'm not a fan of people posting their artistic research and normally I would never post anything that wasn't carefully edited. I have no idea why I'm posting this or who would find it interesting but I've been working on a new act and going through old video clips looking for forgotten ideas. This is literally 3:58 of pure improv. One late night, one shot, one song, an empty room, lot of caffeine, a little juggling and a few emotions. There are drops. There are moments that are self-indulgent and overdone. Technical jugglers you will not like this. You guys that are interested in pure process may find it interesting.
