A compilation of 22 ideas filmed over 22 days, just filmed nice and quick (mostly) in my room. Usually I get lots of ideas at work and put them aside/forget about them so for a test I figure I'd document it and see what comes of it. Was going to do it longer but I want to let my wrist heal up a bit before JJF. Think I might have another go at this over the winter...

TURN HD ON!
Salaryman - A full length video combining contact bodyrolling, finger stalls and mixed props (Renegade Design Lab).
I've made plenty of videos up until now but I felt like creating something more substantial for a change. The idea came several months ago during a very low point at my job (basically a lack of anything to do), so I've used all that pent up energy and frustration and decided to create some new ideas and see if I could take contact juggling somewhere that maybe hasn't been explored before. Theres plenty more to be done but this is a first step towards where I would like to be with my juggling in the future.
I'm not interested in asking people to pay to watch or for donations (it just wouldn't feel right), I simply ask that if you like what you see, please share it! As long as it gets around and (hopefully) inspires somebody then it has done it's job.

I went up to a park in Highbury and recorded a combination of tricks, most of which I've recorded before, but never together. In the middle I do catch behind the back which came from working with Devon Howell. At the end is a shaker cup move inspired from watching Tuey Wilson.

The Arts was my first ever circus video was created for my Yr12 6th AS media CW and i think it is very good would like lots feedback comments tips hints and compliments :D:D lmao btw forget about the intro purly to get up a extra grade lmao :D

oh btw sumone tampered with it before i merged it then i merged it without resolving this so audio at times is not what it should be which makes the film less effective unfortunly

Originally invented by Mushy Pea Steve this move was refered to as "that move Steve does" and became known simply as The Steve. Hold your arm out in front of you with the staff a little above your head. Spin the staff towards you so it will roll down your arm and release it just before the staff is pointing straight in front of you. As the staff rolls down your arm straighten your arm a little to allow a smoother roll and raise your arm up. When it gets to your shoulder raise that shoulder and drop the other so it keeps rolling. As it comes onto your second arm raise that arm with the staff to give it the momentum to get back to your hand.

Had to film something before the winter's coming.
I didn't practice any numbers lately, so this is mostly a technical 1d, 2d video.
Just some integral combos I like, only a few tricks are really new.
P.S. Not all clips are at best quality, since I had some issues with the rendering (I was dumb enough to film at two framerates :( ). The quality on YouTube is better.

I REALLY hate wind. I seriously gave up on this video after I had about 30 minutes of footage but only 10 seconds of tricks, because the rest of the footage was of me waiting for the wind to die down so I can continue. I put my rings in the car then headed to a new area to do the contact juggling video. Then I found out the new area is blocked off with trees so there was barely any wind. So I went back and grabbed my rings and shot most of this video down there./nI always forget something, last month I forgot those behind the back catches, this month I forgot some multiplex 4 ring starting tricks. I should write down all the tricks I have to do before I head out.../nAs for this video, I like how it came out besides the choppiness when I do 4 and 5 rings./nThe song is Coming Undone by Korn.

A few clips of things I can do on trampoline. No point going to circus school and not learning trampoline!
Note: I am not a trampolinist! Do not expect awesome stuff... i played on trampoline for 1-2 hours per week, for about 4 months before making this video.

Backcross to head catch - Throw the hat behind your back, and catch it on your head.
Like most throwing moves, this is a variation on the Throw to head - so it's probably a good idea to learn that first!
Hold the hat in your right hand using an inside grip, spread your fingers out nice and wide as you would for a normal throw to the head.
Swing your arm out to the side, so that the crown of the hat is pointing downwards. Bring your arm behind your back and release the hat so that it does a nice, high, slow spin above your left shoulder.
As the hat descends, look up into it and catch it in the same way that you would for a standard throw to the head.
Top Tip: The catching part is easier if you turn your head towards your left shoulder just before the catch. Oh, and obviously learn this throw from both hands...

At some point, your hat will end up on the floor and you'll want it back in your hand. You could just bend down and pick it up (boring!), use a normal foot to head (less boring, but relatively easy) or you could use this little move... (Far more studly way to kick a hat :-)
Place the hat on the floor, to your left, crown downwards and the opening tilting slightly towards you.
Point your right toe, and bring it behind your left leg. Place your right toe into the opening of the hat, and give it a quick upwards flick. With luck (and practice :-) you can make the hat jump up into your left hand.
Top tip: If the hat isn't quite in the right position, you can use your right foot to move it around a bit before kicking.
Bonus points: Do it without falling over about 20 times whilst filming the damn clip for your website...

Three Hat Cascade - Ring Style - Juggling 3 hats in a cascade, throwing them as you would rings.
1. Learn to juggle 3 balls. See the IJDb tutorials page. Sorry non-jugglers, but it'll help a lot.
2. Throw each hat with a flick of the wrist to give it some stabilising spin. Catch the hats palm-upwards, in an inside grip. Rotate the wrist inwards 180 degrees before the next throw.

I had a lot of trouble with editing this video, because my computer is very slow, so its name is Trouble.
It is made of some old clips I found in my coputer.
I don´t know how to delete the DIVX logo :(
It´s nothing extra, I know:
There is a bad lighting and location.
I move a lot while juggling.
Tricks are boring and simple.
Just some basic editing...
I just want to have some video before my big summer video...
The trick you can´t see because of the sun, is 5 ball shower :D

Here is as far as we have got on this new pattern. Hopefully groups of you will be able to learn it before EJC. Style wise I think it is Rhonda style at the feeder side and York style on the feedie side. Let the battle commence!
