Ian-Chess

After a year and a month, I finally broke 100 catches of 7. Posting this video for the 7 ball competition on rec.juggling. And in case your wondering, the date is in fact wrong and should be 2010 instead of 09

Tex Glanville - bottle & plate ca.1940?

bad1dobby

Australian variety performer Tex Glanville, showing his bottle & plate routine. Bottle & plate was one of the routines of the gentleman jugglers, and is mentioned in some of the old juggling books, but is not common today. Tex was an exceptional rope-spinner, as well as a juggler and slackwire artist. He also made home movies of other performers - 'Elimar the genius juggler', #832 on this site, is one of his. The date is an estimation.

Here's the way computers use the state-space to generate transition sequences ... and why that way doesn't work for people! Plus, there's a human-based way if you know of or can come up with a trick that has states in common with the two tricks you wish to transition between. /nPlease note that even if tricks have different levels of excitation, but nevertheless share states with one another, you can just go from the middle of one trick to the middle of the other (or wherever the tricks share the common state), without any "extra" throws.

7 ball cascade personal best update

tomjuggles

This is the longest run I've ever had with the 7 ball cascade up to now. If anyone has tips how to improve the juggling technique or sth else, please comment. Because of the catching speed feels a bit too fast and tiring for me at the moment. filmed on September 21th with Mister Babache silicon coated beanbags. Collisions on Crosby

hexagonic

I've been working on collisions (as I like to call them) for about three years now. In essence it's when two (or more) balls hit each other. I've also been playing around with taps (where you tap the ball(s) with your hand); this video has most of the three ball tricks I've learnt. Filmed on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool in September 2014. Music is "Trick" by The Rainstick Orchestra

The stunning conclusion to the Throw Sequence method, for asynch tricks. In this case I derive some transitions from 714 back into 741. This one also shows how to do a 0, and why I like numbers and not letters to denote siteswap throws.

The Perils of Ambiguity: Boppo Qualifies 11 with 24c!!

btiemann

On the heels of Alex Barron's upcoming filmed 11-ball qualify, does Boppo get lucky once again on camera with an unbelievable 24 catches with 11 - and 15 catches with 13? /nOr, is he just trying to make a point about the shortfalls of ambiguous notations?
