MagiClub 13 comes to Sheffield, for Jay Gilligan and Wes Peden's juggling masterclass. This was filmed during the lunch break on the final day in about 40 minutes. Instead of asking people to just do anything, I asked them to try something from the workshop that they had learnt, or an idea that they could work into their juggling. This was on about 2 minutes notice, or less, so there are a few ideas from the workshop woven into this video.

At MJC there was an Act Devising Program. It basically helped you make an act. All of the participants had the opportunity to perform their new found performing skill at the end of the Program. Here is my performance :) Enjoy
Please note: This is not my normal performance!! It was in front of jugglers and diaboloists, so I put a little more tech in it, hence the drops...

Monobolo is one sided diabolo that really works. This is old prototype of it. I wanted to make act with like 20 monobolos in similar way that you spin plates on a stick but with one sided diabolos, I also wanted to be able to do regular diabolo tricks with those as well. I knew there wasn't prop for that in stores so I asked Jürgen Kreisz to do that kind of thing because I really liked his diabolo kits. I think he had plans for that kind of thing already... Anyway I got the prototype and this is basicly first test video of it. Nothing special. Then Jürgen made more and we sold many in FDC. While selling these things we gave it a name monobolo. And that is sweet. Fun toy. I haven't made the act I planned, I bet it would be boring and stupid.

This is a test video by Mike Sharkey for the Canon 550d T2i. No post filters used, all effects done in-camera (other than ramping).
He wanted me to do some tricks for him, so he could try the slowmo and other cool features. I'm terribly out of practice, so there's nothing new trick wise. The quality is pretty amazing though!

This is my new proper diabolo video :). I filmed this video during my vacation to Spain and Andorra and put a lot of work into it. This time I wanted to make a mix of all kind of tricks, so that there is something for everyone.
Special thanks to Stef, Matthias, Atte and Eyal for giving me some trick ideas and my mom and dad for filming :).

Finally got a new prop, and I got it exactly 1 week before filming, and that week was E3 week. All the gamers out there can figure out how much practice I had that week...but yea, I upgraded to new sticks, string, and length 2 days before filming, so it took a while for me to get used to it, even now it feels weird./nBut yea, the 2nd song was a light fun hearted song (for most of it), so that's why I wasn't too serious about editing, it just seemed to fit well having extended clips. I like it.

2006. More new tricks, some good ones, there's better tricks being done now days by many other 3 ball jugglers but, these are original as far as I know with several interesting possibilities. Maybe, tho' there was some good material at Dublin which gave me the common EJC blues.

A bluesy tour around the parks of York. Accompanied by some new 4-7 ball tricks that I have been meaning to film for absolutely ages! The balls used are (unsurprisingly) Panda Balls, made by George on his quest for the perfect juggling ball. They feel quite like Sportco Balls but look like pandas so are therefore inherently cooler! My performance for the talent show at my school. First time ever I performed with anyting. I was kinda nervous so there are quite some drops in the performance :-(. About the excalibur; the stage was actually too small for excalibur (some stage pieces were missing) and the light-effect didn't really help, so that part was one big disappointment :-P
