Contact Juggling, an ancient art recently codified and popularized by Michael Moschen, is as indefinable as it is magical. Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. This was filmed in 2005 (in my old kitchen in my old house) and is the routine that I did to win the 2005 WJF Ball Bouncing Competition. This is the day I made up the routine... Made up the 4 ball section, then filmed it... Made up the 5 ball section, then filmed it... you get the idea.

This was supposed to be my "one year of juggling" video but since university didn't allow me to practice and record on time, some months have passed.

New ideas, new props, new life.
Had the idea for a long time to mix contact with other props (in particular the RDL props), so I gave myself a challenge of trying to come up with some mini routines over the summer. Still in the early stages but its somewhere I want to look into more.
Going to live in Japan permanantly from the 30th so its a kind of goodbye UK/home vid. After a very long wait its time to start a new life.

Australian variety performer Tex Glanville, showing his bottle & plate routine. Bottle & plate was one of the routines of the gentleman jugglers, and is mentioned in some of the old juggling books, but is not common today.
Tex was an exceptional rope-spinner, as well as a juggler and slackwire artist. He also made home movies of other performers - 'Elimar the genius juggler', #832 on this site, is one of his.
