ponk

3 3-Count Roundabouts All period 6, one-sided. Notation in the video. Jill, Eva, and I taught a workshop on these three 3-count roundabout variations that we deciphered from Aidan's book and reconstructed from notes from Nicki's workshop. Filmed at Passout on Vashon Island, WA. All takeouts on right-handed beats. For two-sided variations see the period 9 patterns PGDI (http://juggling.tv/16674) and Vashon Roundabout (http://juggling.tv/16675)

3 Ball New School Juggling

lucasadverse

I know the title sounds a bit corny but why not use such a cool term? This is a compilation of me performing part of the tricks I've come up with in the last 3 to 4 months. The main purposes of this video are to introduce new concepts and share ideas of tricks and connections between them so please, don't criticise my lack of symmetry or the lack of endurance because I'm pretty aware of it. Inspirations: Kohei Yamashita, Stefan Sing, Darren Donelle and Amadeusz Kołak. Music: Bakermat - Black Cat John Brown Gang Starr - Full Clip Props: Norwiks (75mm and 70g). Location: University of Victoria (BC), Canada.

3 ball stack progress 3 - plus machine learning

peterbone

Getting closer to my goal of 10 seconds. The images at the start from left to right are Enrico Rastelli (1920s), Leon Rabello (1936) and Paolo Bedini (1943). The machine learning shows a genetic algorithm evolving a multi-layer perceptron neural network controller to perform the balance in 2 dimensions. A 2D rigid-body physics engine was used for the simulation. The performance of each trial was assessed based on the time balanced and the average 'uprightness' of the stack over the duration of the balance. http://www.mathworks.co.uk/matlabcentral/fileexchange/36911-machine-learning-balancing-a-stack-of-balls
