Gravity Vomit presents "GV64, a tribute to video games of the 90s", our entry for Show in a Week, "I ♥ 90s" theme. Recorded on 31 October 2009, taken from the official DVD.
For those who don't know, show in a week is an annual event at Bath University. The arts societies have one week from the theme being announced to cast, write, and rehearse their entry. It always proves to be fun and stressful!

This video was and still is one of my prouder accomplishments, mostly because it was released during a time when videos were downloaded and not streamed. They were also fewer and far between, and I think this is truly one of the first juggling music videos, in which the lyrics of the song were used to inspire content.
At the time it was released, I won a lot of praise on rec.juggling and despite tons of videos released since then, people still send me e-mails requesting a link to this video. And honestly, I think "Heart of a Champion" will always feel like personal theme music to me.
Enjoy and thanks to the wonderful community of jugglers, without whom it wouldn't be worth putting in all the effort to share something like this.

Juni 2008 fand Feuerkunst Berlin zum 3. mal statt. Eine Woche lang trafen sich 40 internationale Artisten
im Tagungshaus Wernsdorf bei Berlin und arbeiteten gemeinsam an einem Großauftritt. Es enstand die
dritte große Show von Feuerkunst Berlin: „Concrete Jungle“.

We took the last opportunity to finish our "project world record" today, before Cameron is returning to England on Thursday after staying in Göttingen for two months.

Unique and highly enjoyable duo hula hoop routine from Duo Ignatov 1991
Lidia & Leonid Ignatov are the parents of Sergey Ignatov Jr, and Leonid is brother to Sergey Ignatov. They also perform a highly skilled act of juggling combined with high level duo balance (one hand on head etc.)

I posted this in support of the Contact Juggling community. I haven't made a pure contact video in a while and I thought it was necessary. Fushigi and its ridiculous marketing/business tactics have taken a lot away from the contact juggling community recently. Things like respect, respect for the fact that we spend years on this stuff. I personally have lots of hard work, study, creativity (i like to think so), and sometimes pain (see, hard work) into this activity. I know many others have too, and I don't like seeing my friend upset over this attempted re-branding and simplification of our art/whatever./nSo I just wanted to say I am not going to admit defeat to this B.S. I'm still going to progress and do what I like and so should everyone else. The Wally-Walk was created by the juggling group, Manic Expressions, who came from our home, Appalachian State, and won the national team passing championship in 1987 (somewhere around there). In honor of them and the great juggling history here in Boone, NC we have brought back the Wally-Walk. Enjoy and share!
