The First Kanto Cigar Box Practice

Teku

The first large cigar box meetup in the Kanto area (plus a special Kansai guest!), held at Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa. A healthy turnout, hopefully this will encourage other people to go along to the next one! Came in useful for me as well.../nFor more information, have a look at https://twitter.com/kantou_cigarbox

Josiah Jones and his 6 Ball Mills Mess!!

reverse7

Joe Kudabeck shows up with the kid from Elburn Illinois and blows our minds with 150+ catches of 6 ball mills and a couple of 5 up 360s into 5 ball contortion. This is just a small sample of the sick sick tricks he was doing! Thanks Joe!

btiemann

I was the second person to do this after Bruce Sarafian, who at that time had not yet flashed 12 balls nor gotten past 11 catches with 11 balls. Plus, this shows the definitive Boppo Finish.

3 ball stack progress 3 - plus machine learning

peterbone

Getting closer to my goal of 10 seconds. The images at the start from left to right are Enrico Rastelli (1920s), Leon Rabello (1936) and Paolo Bedini (1943). The machine learning shows a genetic algorithm evolving a multi-layer perceptron neural network controller to perform the balance in 2 dimensions. A 2D rigid-body physics engine was used for the simulation. The performance of each trial was assessed based on the time balanced and the average 'uprightness' of the stack over the duration of the balance. http://www.mathworks.co.uk/matlabcentral/fileexchange/36911-machine-learning-balancing-a-stack-of-balls

Analog

Anrachain

This video is a short showcase of some of the results of months of research in ring manipulation. The video was shot in just a few short hours with a mobile phone camera and without the aid of a camera man but was expertly edited by Hannah Martin. Simple as the production is, it is for me a fine a example of the conclusion of the research; Rings are cool. /nJuggling - Pol Hanrahan Camera - A black stool and tape Editing - Hannah Martin Music - "Madiba" by Robert Lee Furdoe Filmed in the Katakomben Berlin Thanks to everyone who contributed with special mention to Hannah Martin, The black stool, Declan Mee, Stefan Sing and Darragh McGloughlin

rhythm - part3 (Pomet Phantom Patterns)

congasious

The final part of the "Rhythm" trilogy, palm spinning as graphic manipulation. I wanted to show also some new ideas that i work on, so some patterns are clean some are not. New techniques used in here: - quarter spins - individual changes of the starting point (point of control) - 1/8 spins (the diagonal spin-spin & anti-spin, the "cross" & the "X") - perpendicular spin-spin and anti-spin - advanced phantom patterns using the techniques above In this video there are 2 Phantom Patterns analyzed in four different ways each (4 balls, 3 balls, 2 balls same colour and 2 balls different colour): Pattern, a) 0:19-1:29 Pattern, b) 2:29-3:32

Une paire pour deux - Compagnie Tilos

Thoum

The Tilos Company presents the show "A pair for two", a duet based on diabolo passing with only one pair of sticks and one diabolo. The choice to make a whole act with such a few number of juggling props is a really intersting constraint that leads to an original technical research and brings the diabolo passing in a way no mutch developped.

48 Hours of Practice 4 - Shaker Cups

Reeses2150

The 4th video in my tradition of after buying a new juggling prop, practicing with it for two days and then creating a video showcasing what I've come up with. This time the prop is shaker cups, compliments of my Dube sponsorship with JoJ, and I think that this is by far the best 48 hours prop I've tried so far. There's just so much in common with shakers and kendama/cigar boxes that they felt just nothing but natural.

2013 Contactjuggling.org Collaboration Video

CasualArcane

Contact Juggling, an ancient art recently codified and popularized by Michael Moschen, is as indefinable as it is magical. Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. Whether dance, juggling, mime, or magic (or perhaps all four or none at all), this video showcases years of hard work by artists across four continents, each bound together by a common interest but all unique in their study./nEdited by Riel Green and Sennyo of Casual Arcane (CasualArcane.com) All music by Module (Modulemodule.com) and Bri Maneely (soundcloud.com/brimaneely) Video by Contactjuggling.org and contact jugglers around the world!/nFor more information about contact juggling, or to find out how to be a part of next year's collaboration video, visit www.contactjuggling.org!
