w.greg.phillips

__1__2__3 A: ps ps ps -> M B: ps ss ps -> C C: ss ps ss -> A M: cA sC iA -> B The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "cA": The manipulator (M) carries a club to A. 2. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a pass from A to C. 3. "iA": The manipulator intercepts a pass from B to A. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Juggled in memory of Aidan Burns by Nick Aikens, Jill Carson, Christian Kästner and Greg Phillips at the Not Quite Pittsburgh Juggling Festival, 9 November 2014.

It´s easier for the manipulator tells AND 1 2 3 as the cC actually happens before count 1. also take a look at the original file: http://juggling.tv/15101

Colaboración Diábolo 2011 Circoforum

Circoforum

One more year we bring you our Collaboration Video. Spanish diabolo players from all around the country and even abroad team up for an almost 10 minutes video. This year we pay tribute to Kukutza III (in Bilbao), an occupied cultural center that has been providing a mixed and wide cultural alternative for many years in a working-class neighbourhood. It's been evicted and next demolished in September 2011. http://kukutza.blogspot.com/ We also want to dedicate this to all the people suffering the consequences of a crisis and the ones taking the streets to protest. Don't give up; we can. Thanks to all the diabolo players involved, and especially to our editor, Blonfu, for his hard work. :) This is our 4th diabolo project, check the ones from 2006, 2009 and 2010 too!

Completing The Circle

ljp

In 2004 Jonathan Jolly released a DVD called Completing the Circle, a documentary about the UK juggling scene filmed over 6 months in 2003. It's a wonderful snapshot of the UK juggling scene at the time, with great footage from various conventions and interviews with many of the jugglers who were on the scene during this period. Jonathan has now decided to make this lost project freely available to the juggling community. Click the link above to read some of Jonathan's thoughts on the project.

Contactjuggling.org Collaboration Video 2012

CasualArcane

*Note: Polilop is a typo. The artists name is actually PiloliP* Contact Juggling, an ancient art recently codified and popularized by Michael Moschen, is as indefinable as it is magical. Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. Whether dance, juggling, mime, or magic (or perhaps all four or none at all), this video showcases years of hard work by artists across four continents, each bound together by a common interest but all unique in their study. Edited by Riel Green and Sennyo of Casual Arcane (Casualarcane.com) All music by Module (Modulemodule.com) Video by Contactjuggling.org and contact jugglers around the world! For more information about contact juggling, visit contactjuggling.org! Thank you for watching!!

The seventh of 19 clips free of visual juggling 1.0 « Visual Juggling Project » is a succession of suggestions on object motions & body languages, hilighting the graphic side of the discipline. This is the result of the gathering & collaboration of a dozen of international jugglers & manipulators, around various props such as balls, clubs, rings, pois, devilstick & frisbee. It has been made from the shared reexions, explorations & experiences of those major stakeholders on the dynamic relationships between « tech » & « flow ». Diabolo.ca Collaboration video 2017

Samuli

the twelfth annual diabolo.ca collaboration video celebrating the thirteenth anniversary of the D.ca forum./ndiabolo jugglers from many different countries are here sharing their tricks with all of us. Now it is time to celebrate even that this video is published way late and unfortunately doesn't have all the clips that were sent for the 2017 collaboration project in the first place. Sorry for that but I wasn't able to do much about that. Some say better late than never and some might still dissagree but try to enjoy this Late Reduced remix of Diabolo.ca Collaboration video 2017. Cheers, Rauli/n#sharingiscaring/ndiabolo jugglers included on the video: Chloé The VOID Eduardo Bemfica Jannis K. ET LUDIT Play & create.

Impredecibles

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public. Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.
