I changed up my editing style for this video after the failure of Adverse Reaction, and started this video by finding the best music FIRST, then editing the video according to the music. I can explain myself with this one. I did the toss juggling shots first since I had different locations and the wind wouldn't let me juggle for too long at a time. And the contact part was supposed to be like 2 straight runs. So after the juggling part was done, my battery was almost dead. So I quickly made the 2 runs (about 3 minutes each) and also shot some experimental tricks. I figured that would take all 4 minutes of my song....nope...after some editing it totaled about 2 minutes and 30 seconds...so I had to stretch it out./nSo this is pretty much an instructional video now. I threw in some names for the hard stuff so you can ask me about those if you have questions./nThe song is Familiar Taste of Poison by Halestorm. That song is dedicated to the last trick I do in this video, it's my poison.

Filmed at a bouldering spot just east of Perth innovatively called "Boulder Rock". The music is Illusion by VNV Nation.
The five main sequences show different families of siteswaps involving 1 or 2 high throws and juggling 4 or 3 balls underneath. The final 3 sequences involve different tricks with the lower balls, and the 4th sequence uses 75814 as the base pattern rather than 5.

That’s my new 3 ball juggling video. After watching the footage the first time I noticed that I had too much stuff for a normal video. Because of that I decided to separate it in 5 chapters. I think that the structure makes it more watchable.
Chapter 1: body placements
Chapter 2: combinations and miscellaneous
Chapter 3: fork and back of the hand
Chapter 4: boxes and Co.
Chapter 5: bodythrows and bodycatches
Don’t except too much of the bodythrow/catch stuff. Recently I didn't work much on bodythrows/catches. Therefore the focus is more on the other chapters.

This is the first of the "Cate Emily" videos. I give the title Cate Emily to videos that I feel make a statement about me. In other words something more serious than a quick practice video. I actually never even called myself "Cate Emily" until I made this video, but it started to stick, so I went with it...
The title is true by the way, I went off my medication (anti-depressants actually, but Ritalin is more catchy) and made this video in a four day burst of caffeine/ADD fueled burst of mania. Bet you didn't know that, huh?

My first experiment with juggling related video editing. I filmed some half hour worth of footage on a nice summer day and tried my best to edit it down to a well-synched, fast cut, short, effectpacked music/juggling video.
