ALEXcortezM

My first experiment with juggling related video editing. I filmed some half hour worth of footage on a nice summer day and tried my best to edit it down to a well-synched, fast cut, short, effectpacked music/juggling video. turn up your speakers, fullscreen, watch and listen closely. Negative (and positive) Feedback highly appreciated. Music: Tunng - Mother's Daughter Techinfo: Size: 31,8 mb Duration: 1.12 min Resolution: 720 * 576 50fps fully deinterlaced compressed with Xvid Alexander Müller [email protected]

The Stretchies with their marvelously daft take on what you're supposed to do with chairs. Recorded from UK TV in the late 1990s (probably).

The Purse and the Plunger

Aaron

A mildly juggling related video but darn funny nonetheless. A villain steals a purse and is dealt with the only way a plumber/object manipulator can - using his tools as weapons.

Tex Glanville - bottle & plate ca.1940?

bad1dobby

Australian variety performer Tex Glanville, showing his bottle & plate routine. Bottle & plate was one of the routines of the gentleman jugglers, and is mentioned in some of the old juggling books, but is not common today. Tex was an exceptional rope-spinner, as well as a juggler and slackwire artist. He also made home movies of other performers - 'Elimar the genius juggler', #832 on this site, is one of his. The date is an estimation.

Trixie Larue on ice... in colour!

bad1dobby

The astonishing Trixie Larue on ice. In glorious colour!! Ball spinning, head bouncing, 3 hats, 6 plates and a head bounce, ball and mouthstick, and fine row of 6 backflips (on skates!) to cap it off. Found on home movies from The Maxwells - Australian comedy acrobatic duo, who worked in the Ice Capades with her.

Sling Ring Harpsichord Performance

SlingTrue

A game branded as Gyro Ring in the past, here is a fabulously addicting prop composed of five brass washers (beads) strung onto a stainless steel ring. To activate this prop you spin the brass beads and turn the larger ring to keep them going in perpetual activity. The ring can then be manipulated in various ways to perform a large range of tricks! This is a improv set slowed to 1/2x. These rings were popular in Japan and New Zealand circa 1995-1997 but remained widely unknown to much of the rest of the world. A small selection of high quality rings are available online at my website SlingTrue.org Please contact me if you have any insights or questions
