I only just realized exactly how long it's been since my last big serious juggling video. WAYYY too long. So i cleared my schedule for last night and got to work editing one of the big video projects I had in the works, Android Hell 2. Showing off my improved angled surface apparatus, and showing all the new tricks I've managed to learn with it. Enjoy!

Monobolo is one sided diabolo that really works. This is old prototype of it. I wanted to make act with like 20 monobolos in similar way that you spin plates on a stick but with one sided diabolos, I also wanted to be able to do regular diabolo tricks with those as well. I knew there wasn't prop for that in stores so I asked Jürgen Kreisz to do that kind of thing because I really liked his diabolo kits. I think he had plans for that kind of thing already... Anyway I got the prototype and this is basicly first test video of it. Nothing special. Then Jürgen made more and we sold many in FDC. While selling these things we gave it a name monobolo. And that is sweet. Fun toy. I haven't made the act I planned, I bet it would be boring and stupid.

Had to film something before the winter's coming.
I didn't practice any numbers lately, so this is mostly a technical 1d, 2d video.
Just some integral combos I like, only a few tricks are really new.
P.S. Not all clips are at best quality, since I had some issues with the rendering (I was dumb enough to film at two framerates :( ). The quality on YouTube is better.

Some credits for stuff here. Marko helped with some yoyo-related stuff. Tommi helped to make easier get out for the first 2d trick. The beginning of the long body combo is from William G. Then part of the long combo is from Antonin H. What else? hmmm. that migtht be it. the Eiffel in triangle idea is from Jem, different mount and get out but the image is from him. Comment, if I missed something.

This is a trick more commonly done with clubs, diabolos, or devil sticks but I think it translates nicely with cigar boxes. These are just a few of the many possible variations that I'm working on.

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. Starting a dream, enjoying the moment and enable the flow. This is the aim of the show which explores the combination of toss juggling tricks and rolling tricks. The focus is on performing space filling contemporary ball tricks while minimising movements and thereby highlighting the space which is created by the paths of the manipulated balls.

Well this is a long video, mostly because of the intro though. i don't want to spoil anything in the description...but I have to in the tricks list, so get to at least like a minute in before reading this.
Like I said, I'm 2 days late, but that's because I was hanging out with the .org people on the 10th, and didn't get home until 4:00 on the 11th, and I had work at 5. Then the next day I wasn't home at all. So yea, I'm late, but I didn't use those late days to get more practice in.
When i get into the ball juggling, I've only been doing that for a little less then a week, so hopefully by next month I can make it consistent. Now for the spoilers:
