Esiintyjät: laura Vuorjoki-Elo, Miika Nuutinen, Markus Nivala, Antti Nerg, Rauli Katajavuori, Janne Ojajärvi, Jukka Karppanen/nTämä nykysirkusteos pohjautuu Miika Nuutisen toisen runokirjan ‘Kiven aika’ teksteihin. Laura Vuorjoki-Elo on säveltänyt esityksen musiikin näiden tekstien pohjalle ja ‘Kiven aika’ – teoksessa kolme laulajaa esittävät tämän syntyneen runomusiikin tulen säestyksellä. Tulikoreografiat ja jättimäiset origamit luovat kuvituksen Miika Nuutisen teksteille ja Laura Vuorjoki-Elon sävellyksille. Aasialainen ja Karjalainen perinne sulautuvat yhteen ja kurkottamaan kohti uutta elävää esitystaidetta. Seitsemän esiintyjän voimin esitetty runotuliorigamikonsertti muodostaa vahvan ja tunnerikkaan kokemuksen koko teosta seuraavalle yleisölle./nEsityksen kesto noin 50 minuuttia

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public.
Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.

25. -28.8.2016 Joensuussa ja osana JOEN YÖTÄ 26.8.2016/nEnsimmäinen vuosittainen suomen tulitaiteilijoiden tulitaidefestivaali HEHKU järjestettiin Joensuussa 25. -28.8.2016, lisäksi tapahtuma on osana ’Joen Yö’ -kaupunkifestivaalia 26.8.2016. ja tapahtuman gaalanäytös täytti Joensuun torin tuhansilla katsojilla./nHehku -tulitaidefestivaali rakentuu näyttävästä tuligaalasta, kotimaisten tulitaideryhmien esityksistä, ja työpajoista. /nHehku – tulitaidefestivaali kiteytyi perjantaina klo 21 alkaneeseen tulitaideryhmien tunnin mittaiseen gaalanäytökseen. Tämä näytös toimi samalla myös Joen Yö -tapahtuman näyttävänä huipennuksena. Aidan Burns' Scrambled V Variation (cA sA iA)
The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise).
1. "cA": The manipulator carries a club to A.
2. "sA": The manipulator substitutes a pass from C to A.
3. "iA": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from B to A.
The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. All the jugglers are relabeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes.
We start the pattern with an unmanipulated pass on beat 1 and on beat 2 with sA.
Once the pattern is running the sA happens while M stands close to the Feeder. It is still a substitution, but Feedee C really has to pass to M.

Doreen was visiting Madrid for a couple of days, and we spent a rainy morning juggling patterns in my warehouse.
Is amazing how time flies when you play this kind of funny things, and how fast you can juggle new patterns with the right partner. She is one of the best passers in the world, for sure!
In addition, is amazing how we keep enjoying Préchac Transformation after all these years. We already played a lot of this patterns but there is still a universe out there... Full of new tricks to discover and customize.
