Aidan Burns' Scrambled V Variation (iB cB sA)
General information:
The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass.
Walking:
After pass three, B walks on a 4-count to the left side of A. All the jugglers are relabeled
(A -> B', B -> C', C -> A')
and the new feeder A' starts counting the 3 passes, starting with B'.
The manipulation:
1. "iB": The manipulator (M) intercepts a pass from A to B.
The juggler who was B is new M, and reads from the manipulator line. The juggler who was M now is B.
2. "cB": M carries a club to B.
3. "sA": M substitutes a the pass from B to A.
How to do this pattern:
We start manipulating the pattern by substituting the pass from B to A on beat three.

This is my first juggling video.
The tricks are not the hardest, but I am still prouf of this video.
I just started juggling about 2 weeks ago. I hadn't played for many months before.
I hope that i won't lose interest in juggling again, but I can't promise anything.
Maybe you will see more juggling videos soon ;).

The Ambled 3V, a.k.a., Unicorn Charge! Performed by Keith Campbell, Ingrid Johnson, Will Murray, Britt Tyler, and Staffan Ulfberg in July 2017./nThe Scrambled 3V is a combination of Aidan Burns's Scrambled 3 and Scrambled V patterns to make a five-person, two-manipulator pattern. In the Ambled version, we add an extra club (12 in total) and make all the passes doubles so it takes place on a 10-club doubles feed. /nIn the Ambled 3, the manipulator (M) substitutes a pass from the right feedee (C) to the feeder (A). But *before* delivering that club to A, M must steal another club from A. (This is the same set of steals as in the Scrambled 3, but in the Scrambled 3 you don't have the time travel problem.) So M must actually juggle for one beat! /nWhen we filmed this, Ingrid and Britt were wearing matching unicorn t-shirts, so when they charged together they made unicorn horns. This is how the pattern shall forever henceforth be performed.

Dolby 7.1 is the latest in the series of patterns that have manipulation similar to the classic Dolby Söround http://juggling.tv/1742
In this new pattern, we add a club to the Dolby 5.1 pattern, first shown http://juggling.tv/16656 Dolby 5.1, Dolby 5.2 and Dolby 7.1 were all composed together as a set.
Seeing as Dolby 7.1 is another step up in the difficulty of manipulator patterns I've not gone with a standard pattern video, but instead added some training patterns - like a workshop.
Workshop tips:
1. Keep the tempo slow when you are throwing the heffs - you are controlling the pattern speed.
2. The manipulation needs to be a little faster than you might do it in Dolby 5.1, as the tempo is set by the dwell+height of the heffs. Slow manipulation can introduce timing problems for catching the 4p4p.
3. Heffs (4) and double passes (4p) must be the same height in order to keep good timing.
4. The pattern is synchronous.

I was asked to perform at JCJC fairly last minute, but seeing as I don't practice for performances I just stuck a few things I am comfortable with together. It had its problems but at least I didn't mess up. Might have to actually work on a proper routine sometime in the future though!

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public.
Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.

The first real day of spring. A steel door, monkey shirt and some hoop isolation. Some experiments with speed changes and hoop isolations so a lot of sloppy isos. hope you like it. Probably the last iso video in a while, i dropped my acrylic hoop and broke it :(
