An ambidextrous version of Chopabout, using the turn from Dolby Sörroundabout. The pattern is period 11, although for all 3 people to do each part with both hands takes 66 throws. We do just over an entire round of the pattern (77 throws).
In chopabout you do some substitutions, then roundabout out to allow a new juggler to be the manipulator. By turning out in the same way as in Dolby Sörroundabout you can switch to left handed chopabout - doing the switch on every turn gives the pattern shown Chopped Dolby.

Just a single trick because I can't really do an edit right now (I have RSI or something). From big cup, the trick goes: juggle to lighthouse - fast-hand big cup - big cup juggle - 2x arm bounce - spike - earth turn to bird fly over the valley - fast-hand 1-turn lunar - spike.

I've been in grad school for 18 months now and it's been a difficult trip. Certainly more time consuming than undergrad but after the first semester I managed to find time to balance life out a bit more, resume volunteer work and circus training. The tricks in this video were mostly filmed over Thanksgiving and Christmas break and almost entirely involve backcrosses with clubs mainly because that's what I'm most excited about sharing at the moment. My knees gave me some problems several years ago and it's made me too paranoid about re-injuring them to do 360 tricks on an un-waxed floor. It's not any loss to the viewer as I haven't learned any new spin tricks in a long time. This is not to say I don't give them the effort, just that I haven't improved on them for a while. There are 360 tricks I could do in high school that I can't do much better these days despite the 6 years of practice that have passed. There are no balls in the video because I couldn't find a way to film them clearly and there is not

Been practising this trick for 2-3 months now with 4 rings and it's starting to be very solid. Just recently I added the 5th ring and it's starting to run as well! :)/nPlan is to perform it with 5 rings with a run of 10 bounces/20 catches within a year from now! This was my selection video for the Japanese Juggling Festival championships. Unfortunately, I just found out it wasn't good enough to get through...in case you were wondering, up to 2 or 3 misses is generally fine, I felt like the end was small enough to forgive. As for next year, I'll try again, and now this vid is out there I need some harder tricks...
