I wanted to film some things which where becoming solid and I wanted to put on stage maybe sometime soon. I also included 2 tricks which are not going on stage anytime soon, but occasionally creep into my practice session.

Filmed at a bouldering spot just east of Perth innovatively called "Boulder Rock". The music is Illusion by VNV Nation.
The five main sequences show different families of siteswaps involving 1 or 2 high throws and juggling 4 or 3 balls underneath. The final 3 sequences involve different tricks with the lower balls, and the 4th sequence uses 75814 as the base pattern rather than 5.

This was filmed in 2005 (in my old kitchen in my old house) and is the routine that I did to win the 2005 WJF Ball Bouncing Competition. This is the day I made up the routine... Made up the 4 ball section, then filmed it... Made up the 5 ball section, then filmed it... you get the idea.

Breakaway Yo-Yo Trick. The yo-yo used in the demonstration by Luke Renner is a responsive Duncan Dragonfly. Filmed January and February 2013 in Northwest New Mexico. Cinematography by Izzi. Brent Stole GT Laceration Yo-Yo Trick - Luke Renner. The trick is demonstrated using the MagicYoYo April. The story behind the trick is that... "Brent stole my trick" said Alex at the US National Yo-Yo Contest. Since then then it has been shortened to just Brent Stole. The trick is a fast Green Triangle Laceration. In which Brook finally accepts Mark will never learn interesting siteswaps and they do a bunch of 1-count and 2-count. With apologies to the Highgate jugglers for my betrayal of ambidexterity!
Filmed in November 2016 when we didn't have to rehearse the passing routine for Camvention any more and enjoyed our freedom :)

This is my BYJOTY juggling act for 2016, which was my final year of entering since I'm currently 20 years old. This routine won me the title of the British Young Juggler of the Year and the silver award of the competition./nI met some great people who also entered the competition with amazing acts, who you should also check out: Luke Davies, Max Hodgkinson, Lucy Cobb, Adam Church and Nathaniel!/nThanks to Marc Cabry and Josh Turner for filming this for me! I went to California in 2003 with my juggling partner, the multi-talented Kerry Silson. He's a musician, acrobat and horseback performer as well as juggler. The original tapes of this footage were eaten by a JVC camcorder (beware!) and the backups were destroyed by two Macintosh iBook computers working in separate countries. Hope this file (from a Video CD) is watchable.
