I finally finished a new video of my juggling which i
wanted more and more during the past months. The final
result shows some ideas in editing that i like as well as
some tricks and combinations that are brand new for me.
The wind during the last weeks was a little annoying
(you'll recognize). I hope you enjoy watching.

A few years ago i filmed this basic Table Juggling tutorial.
The original idea was to push other jugglers to practice and film more advanced tricks inspired in using surfaces instead of air (more objects, longer periods, passing, bounce or roll...) I think the possibilities are amazing!
If you want to watch really complex table juggling there is a chapter in Social Siteswaps DVD by Gandini Juggling called Tables in Madrid that i filmed with my friend Daniel Shultz where we pass some period 10 tricks and some huge amount of objects and hard siteswaps.

New ideas, new props, new life.
Had the idea for a long time to mix contact with other props (in particular the RDL props), so I gave myself a challenge of trying to come up with some mini routines over the summer. Still in the early stages but its somewhere I want to look into more.
Going to live in Japan permanantly from the 30th so its a kind of goodbye UK/home vid. After a very long wait its time to start a new life.

Brainstorming session using 3 balls and only the inside part of the arm. Tried filming outside but got kicked out of the placed I wanted to go, and with crap weather to come figured I'd just get it out of the way so I can move on to vid 22 (Which WILL BE FILMED SOMEWHERE NICE!)./nテンションが低くいですねｗ 日本のサラリーマンの生活は大変ですよ～ｗ

An experiment. Apologies for it looking shoddy but its bloody hard to do right, especially with limited room. But more than anything I wanted to get the idea across.

A compilation of 22 ideas filmed over 22 days, just filmed nice and quick (mostly) in my room. Usually I get lots of ideas at work and put them aside/forget about them so for a test I figure I'd document it and see what comes of it. Was going to do it longer but I want to let my wrist heal up a bit before JJF. Think I might have another go at this over the winter...

At some point, your hat will end up on the floor and you'll want it back in your hand. You could just bend down and pick it up (boring!), use a normal foot to head (less boring, but relatively easy) or you could use this little move... (Far more studly way to kick a hat :-)
Place the hat on the floor, to your left, crown downwards and the opening tilting slightly towards you.
Point your right toe, and bring it behind your left leg. Place your right toe into the opening of the hat, and give it a quick upwards flick. With luck (and practice :-) you can make the hat jump up into your left hand.
Top tip: If the hat isn't quite in the right position, you can use your right foot to move it around a bit before kicking.
Bonus points: Do it without falling over about 20 times whilst filming the damn clip for your website...

Use a palm-up fork grip at the back of the hat and remove it, straightening the arm. As the arm straightens twist the wrist and take the ring finger off the brim. Spin the hat so that it moves between the middle and forefingers, then transfer the grip to the forefinger and thumb and continue the spin for as far as you can.
Reverse the "twiddle" to place it back on the head.
The main video clip for this trick doesn't show the fingers in any great detail. See the closeup version (120K mpeg) for a better view. For best results you might want to set your video player to loop the clip.
