Esitys rapistuneissa sirkusväreissä/nSIRKÜS on hauska ja yllättävä kaikenikäisille katsojille sopiva lämminhenkinen sirkusparodia joka elää ja hengittää menneisyyden sirkusromantiikkaa. Esitys tarkastelee sirkushistoriaan kuin menneisyyden sirkusvaunun rikkinäisestä ikkunasta./nEsityksn esiintyjät muuttavat roolihahmojaan numerosta toiseen, näyttämölle saapuu niin pöyhkeää ranskalaista baskeripäätä kuin kurimuksessa kärsivää sirkuseläintä, ja nähdään esityksessä huima washington trapetsi -numerokin. Ironisen ivallinen mutta kuitenkin lempeä ja herkkä SIRKÜS -esitys iskee silmää yleisölle, koko estetisoiva sirkustaide ja romantisoitu sirkuskuvasto päätyvät näyttämölle koko totuudessaan. Eikä ketään varmasti häiritse, vaikka vatsastapuhuja ei ole kovin hauska, temput eivät aina onnistu, tirehtööri on ylidramaattinen ja orkesteri soittaa vähän sinne päin. A collaborative art project by Jo Kamm and the Kansas City Juggling Club, featuring fine porcelain, fine juggling skills, and the threat of total destruction. Members of the Kansas City Juggling Club toss and whirl fragile clubs, balls, and diabolos, all hand-crafted by local artist and juggler Jo Kamm.

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public.
Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.

Australian variety performer Tex Glanville, showing his bottle & plate routine. Bottle & plate was one of the routines of the gentleman jugglers, and is mentioned in some of the old juggling books, but is not common today.
Tex was an exceptional rope-spinner, as well as a juggler and slackwire artist. He also made home movies of other performers - 'Elimar the genius juggler', #832 on this site, is one of his.
