FINALLY! Alright, so we've got a lot of good stuff in here, like 8 catches of a 6 ring full reverse, 5 ring half shower, 5 ring full reverse double qualify, a 5 ball mills, 5 ring pancakes, 8 ring flash, 7 ring qualify, and a 4 box move I call "Impossible". Sorry about the massive wait, I got a job and didn't have a single place to practice any move that needed more than an 8 foot ceiling. That AND After trying to use Sony Vegas with my regular video editing style, I found it to be 300 times more work (exactly, not an estimate) than to just use Windows Movie Maker. Or course the problem is Movie Maker got corrupted on my computer somehow and doesn't want to work correctly anymore, so I had to mash this thing together in movie maker and vegas, and save it piece by piece before finally recombining it tonight. Thus, the editing isn't the BEST in the world, but I think it's good enough, I absolutely did NOT want to release this after the IJA. Once the next semester starts, I'm sure I'll be getting even BETTER f

Best Method: Throw Sequence (Brute Force) Transitions

btiemann

If you want to only watch one, watch this one. /nHere's a method to generate siteswap transitions based on where all the balls actually land; making them all work out amounts to creating a sequence. This is my favorite method, and it produces rather easily, all the possible transitions within the context of the throws that you've decided to mess with, either out of necessity (when throws collide) or by choice (when they don't). /nIf you're trying to come up with a way to write an algorithm for producing transitions, I would suggest that this way is the best way. It's deterministic, for one, and it's comprehensive, for another. /nThis is part 1... stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion!!

Box Traps

erygordyh

This is a trick more commonly done with clubs, diabolos, or devil sticks but I think it translates nicely with cigar boxes. These are just a few of the many possible variations that I'm working on.

Cage Steve

Sandy

This move is lots easier to do if you turn with the staff to slow down the spin. That said you will still probably hit yourself in the face learning it. When you are raising your arms back up to roll the staff down th inside of your arm, try to be as controlled as possible because that is the most likly place you will hurt yourself. Mind you if you already do staff another couple of knocks won't make any difference.

Many sweet trick are possible./nSorry for the poor quality... a better version is on YouTube, oh wait did I just say that... Noooooooooooooo fade to black. Derek Scott - eat the apple ca.1990

bad1dobby

This is the one eat-the-apple routine that actually makes me laugh (with the possible exception of Michael Davis). It's Derek Scott (Canadian) on the Australian children's TV show "Agro's Cartoon Connection" (Agro is the puppet). From the early 1990s.

How to bind you fire torches

petje-the-clown

Fire torches wear after long use, they should be bound with a new New wick. This video shows how you can bind torch again. Use grease for easy turning the screw, turn the wick without grease and it is impossible.

Monterrey Jam feat. Cinthia Buitrón “La Flaka”

lucasadverse

As a continuation to my “jam” video series, I was able to collab with another prominent Mexican juggler during my study abroad experience in Mexico. This time I have a female juggler for the first time in this series, and I am very honoured that this juggler is La Flaka. La Flaka is known for being the first (or only) juggler in the history to explore the top-of-the-head balance in the midst of tricks. Before her, jugglers had done patterns while holding that club balance, but no one was ever able to actually integrate the top-of-the-head balance with different siteswaps and body rolls. After hanging out with the Unicirclo Laguna crew in Monterrey for a week, I noticed the potential for modern passing tricks with her and I decided to visit them once again in order to record this video. Thank you Tinoco, Flaka and Leonardo Icaza for making this possible and for being extremely kind and welcoming! Full video with better quality and more details on YouTube!

Mythical Patterns: 4 cascade, 5 fountain, and bonus: 5 wimpy

btiemann

Here I attempt the impossible: to juggle four balls in the cascade pattern, and 5 in the fountain. As a bonus, I also show the 5-ball wimpy pattern. So far as I know, I am the first person ever to do this trick, and with any luck will also be the last.

Overview of Excited State Siteswap Transition (Mini-Series)

btiemann

Here's a non-trailer trailer for an upcoming mini-series of Boppo's Whiteboard ... namely, several different methods to calculate or deduce transition sequences between excited-state siteswap tricks. If you know the get-in and get-outs, that's enough to make transitions. If you know of or can find a trick that has states in common with the tricks you wish to transition between, that is enough to make transition sequences. If you know the states themselves and can find throws to convert between them, that too is enough. Also, if you can give the total arrival schedule, if you will, of the entire sequence you wish to have transitions within, that too enables you to deduce possible transition sequences. They all work for synch, too, but the last is maybe the best method for me.
