I strayed away from my faster, electronica-based, style of editing to pursue something more relaxed in my last few videos. For my first personal video of the year (and my first ever solo video as director and not cameraman), I wanted to revisit this style with my recent progress in videography. 3 ball stack progress 3 - plus machine learning

Getting closer to my goal of 10 seconds. The images at the start from left to right are Enrico Rastelli (1920s), Leon Rabello (1936) and Paolo Bedini (1943). The machine learning shows a genetic algorithm evolving a multi-layer perceptron neural network controller to perform the balance in 2 dimensions. A 2D rigid-body physics engine was used for the simulation. i got this yesterday on my birthday with my brand new sundia evolution diabolos from oddballs, and i got 52 catches today off camera. i have many clips im not uploading because i want them to be saved for my 4 diabolo evoution video. i have a 53 sun almost, and a really close attempt at the normal sun. i havent tried 53 really yet, but a nice trick i could learn would be the stall and back into the shuffle. by camvention in october i will most definitely got this perfect. (if you read this far i luv u)
