Brook and Mark

brook_roberts

In which Brook finally accepts Mark will never learn interesting siteswaps and they do a bunch of 1-count and 2-count. With apologies to the Highgate jugglers for my betrayal of ambidexterity! Filmed in November 2016 when we didn't have to rehearse the passing routine for Camvention any more and enjoyed our freedom :) Thanks to Mark for indulging me and filming, Danny for the terrible 4 way combo that took me over two years to get good enough to actually do (and some of the other ideas), and Jon for filming a little sequence with me.

Five Days: The Scottish Kendama Open

MrJumpshoe

I accidentally made a documentary about the first Scottish Kendama Open! Plenty of road montages, pieces to camera, larking about and I think you can even see the reflection of a kendama in one frame! Big thanks to everyone who was involved!

June to June

Jaeles

I learned to juggle in June 2009. I love juggling! It's been a year since then; this video documents the end of my first year. Most of the footage was shot on World Juggling Day--quite accidentally! Music thanks to Jason Shaw at audionautix.com.

Tricks With Hats: Hat Spinning - Basic Spin

TricksWithHats

Hold the hat by the brim with your left hand so that the crown of the hat is facing away from you. Take the stick in your right hand. With a flick of your wrist, throw the hat up slightly so that it starts spinning anti-clockwise. As the hat descends, hit the brim with the stick slightly to the right of center, such that the stick curves slightly upwards and outwards. This will cause the hat to spin as it rises into the air. As it descends again, repeat the hitting action. The idea of the basic spin is to keep the hat in the air by hitting it repeatedly with the stick in this manner. I find it helps if you look at the top portion of the inside of the hat. Adjusting the spin rate and direction: Hitting the hat nearer the center will give you a slower spin and more height, nearer the edge will give you a faster spin but less height. Obviously striking the left side of the brim will reverse the spin and cause the hat to go clockwise. From the TricksWithHats archive

A Jugglers Review | Gballz

jugglerdavies

Let me go into more details for you, getting these balls delivered was the first issue I came across. It took a while to resolve issues I was having with the delivery company and for whatever reason I was charged an extra fee to get them released from Parcel Force to me. The balls I received are great quality and one day they will be amazing to juggle, but they are in no means “underfilled beanbags.” I do however appreciate Gregory for all the time and effort he put in to making me a logo and creating the balls and wallet, it was incredible of him to do that off his own back and I really appreciate it. I was in contact with Gregory and told him how awesome it was of him to be doing such things, I even sent him a small amount of money as a thank you for the Logo he created, he gave me his info but never acknowledged it after that. I think Gregory is awesome but I also think he is too busy at times and I believe that may impact how he reacts with customers of the business.

Holy Grail - New world record!?!

Nicki

We took the last opportunity to finish our "project world record" today, before Cameron is returning to England on Thursday after staying in Göttingen for two months. Big thanks to everybody who practiced this pattern with me in the last couple of years: Caspar, Brook, Doreen, Jonas, Rasmus, Andi, Barbara, Anett. Huge thanks to Cameron for thinking positive, training with me regularly and catching all my bad passes.
