Short clip of plate spinning on table from 4th Cirque de Demain 1980. The spinner is from the Cairo Circus School. It's only a short clip, but has some nice close-ups of the spinning technique.
This type of plate spinning used to be called "waltzing plates".

This is my first submission for the 2011 IJA Video Tutorial Contest. Most jugglers think that poi spinners are smelly freaks who go to the desert to listen to trance music, but hopefully after watching this you will also see that those of us who choose to can create some quite difficult and technical tricks. /nIf you like my video please vote for it at www.juggle.org between April 1st and 4th. Nearing the end of what was turning out to be a pretty lame juggling practice session, I was dead tired and pissed off. Instead of stopping to employ some of my choicest expletives, I continued derpin' around which inadvertently gave birth to a new style of cigar box juggling./nMusic is Yumi-Ga-Hama by Kodo.

I filmed all these tricks in one morning, so some of them are not clean :(, but I tryed my best, anyway I also put some self invented stuff in this video, enjoy ;).
Oh i almost forgot, this time I also filmed some juggling stuff after a long break of juggling, I really enjoyed it again. I will practise juggling more often again from now on :)

Some new body throw patterns that I came during the year. The body wrap shower I had to do in the T Shirt because it was impossible with more clothing ;) hopefully I'll be able to film some 3 ball sequences soon as well. This video will dig into the world of patterns again :)

Documentary/Showreel about British "new circus" troupe Ra Ra Zoo and their show "Live at the Swan Theater". Not sure about the date as I can't make that out at the end, but it's some time in the late 1980s-early 1990s I think.

The balls are programmed to be a certain colour determined by the vertical distance from my hand. The colour ranges from purple at the bottom up through blue, green, yellow, orange to red at the top of the highest throw - like a rainbow.
It requires fairly precise timing to keep in sync with the programmed timing. Some siteswaps I do a good job with it; others are not quite as in sync.
