This is my first juggling video.
The tricks are not the hardest, but I am still prouf of this video.
I just started juggling about 2 weeks ago. I hadn't played for many months before.
I hope that i won't lose interest in juggling again, but I can't promise anything.
Maybe you will see more juggling videos soon ;).

We had one goal, which was to meet our friend Chris who was working in Portugal. The only problem was we didn't have any money to travel. So we hatch a plan to road trip it and busk to make money along the way - we started our journey in London and travelled through France, Spain and into Portugal.

This is the first of the "Cate Emily" videos. I give the title Cate Emily to videos that I feel make a statement about me. In other words something more serious than a quick practice video. I actually never even called myself "Cate Emily" until I made this video, but it started to stick, so I went with it...
The title is true by the way, I went off my medication (anti-depressants actually, but Ritalin is more catchy) and made this video in a four day burst of caffeine/ADD fueled burst of mania. Bet you didn't know that, huh?

A circus performance my friend and I performed in circus class last term. We have still yet to perform it to an audience this term.
The basci story line is that I (the kid with blonde hair starting on stage) am doing some diabolo tricks. My friend (dark haired guy) walks on and sees me. He trys to show me up by juggling but fails (on purpose). I show him up again, and he steals my diabolo (twice) then he grabs some staffs. We fight, he "beats me", but then I get pu and finish him with the diabolo and do a final trick. ENJOY! :DDD/nP.S. The reason I ran off stage quickly was to grab a diabolo which rolled off stage. Sorry for the 2 fails (diabolo ones).

At Central Michigan University last spring, I started the Circus Arts Club. Quite a few of our members had never even picked up any circus hobby before joining the club. We've all made a lot of great friends and have had a ton of fun! It's a great time!

There are no prerequisites for learning headrolls, grab a ball and start practicing those stalls from day one./nStep 1 is semi-optional./nHead dents WILL occur, they are temporary and should be encouraged/nGood luck, these require patience but they are so so so worth it. Another good move to start with, this is just a reverse elbow wrap followed by a forwards elbow wrap but in wall plane (spinning in front of you as if you were facing a wall). As with all contact, don't let go of the staf untill your hand is touching the contact point (in this case the outside of your elbow). This helps give a nice smooth contact roll. As the video shows this move can be done with hands apart (adding an extra beat) or together. It also leads nicly into pivots.

Wow, where do I even start with this video? I started the David Leahy series in January 2007 with the first video and carried on to make the next 4 all within the year 2007. The original plan for the 6th video was May 2008 but I struggling to improve and ended up scrapping the video. I got back into juggling seriously in 2010 and spent awhile trying to reach my previously obtained standard.
Anyway, Here I am in 2012, 4.5 years after the last video, and I've finally completed it! I really hope you enjoy it, I tried really hard trying to make this video reflect my juggling and even after watching it hundreds of times, I enjoy the final product. Thanks to everyone for the continuous support and inspiration in juggling; you mean the world to me!
I do intend on making David Leahy #7 but I have some big plans with TSC so it could take awhile. I do have like 16 weeks summer holiday though so I'm sure you can expect both around then!

I’m a 4th generation circus arts performer.I started juggling at age 12, my very first performance was in 2007,at age 14.
Improvements in the past few years:
I always consider my main goal to show something new, unique and special to the audience when I perform my act. I always try to improve, to get better in what I do. In the past few years, I improved my contemporary dancing skills, and learned a new style dance: dubstep. I also learned how to get better with the 7 balls, I learned to juggle 9 and 10 balls, and my main goal now is to be able to juggle with 11 balls as well.
