My friend Jamie who is currently studying film in Newfoundland came into town for a few days. Long enough to come up with some ideas and do some fun shooting.
There's some ideas I've been working on for a while, some stuff we came up with on the spot and some technical things as well.

Originally invented by Mushy Pea Steve this move was refered to as "that move Steve does" and became known simply as The Steve. Hold your arm out in front of you with the staff a little above your head. Spin the staff towards you so it will roll down your arm and release it just before the staff is pointing straight in front of you. As the staff rolls down your arm straighten your arm a little to allow a smoother roll and raise your arm up. When it gets to your shoulder raise that shoulder and drop the other so it keeps rolling. As it comes onto your second arm raise that arm with the staff to give it the momentum to get back to your hand.

This is a compilation of the videos that I recorded during the First Mini-Convention of Manipulation ("1ª Mini-Convenção de Manipulação"), which took place in Altinópolis (SP) in December, 2015. Huge thanks to Marcelo Mamute for organizing such a fun event and motivating everyone to come. This video contains my latest ideas including some little experimentation with choreography and clubs. This time, I'm not mentioning any inspirations (although I obviously have inspirations in my style) due to the fact that I decided to exclusively include original ideas (except for the 5BBB). I hope you don't laugh at my clubs because they look small and noobish haha, it's 'cause I bought them when I first started juggling and I don't have other clubs D:

Haymaker Yo-Yo Trick -Luke Renner. A trick that is fun to perform and features various catches. The Haymaker requires a non-responsive yo-yo. The yo-yo used by Luke Renner is the MagicYoYo N8. Special Thanks to MagicYoYo in Shenzen! String is 50/50 slick string courtesy of Shannon Jackson. Filmed outside in Northwest New Mexico in August 2012. My Stage Club routine in 2010, the Fist time I ever did a club routine without throwing a prop. Now I throw it more often but it was a wonderful basis for exploring manipulation in performance. it was also a cool challenge to move slower and present the shapes artistically.
