"State Space" Transitions - Computer and Human

btiemann

Here's the way computers use the state-space to generate transition sequences ... and why that way doesn't work for people! Plus, there's a human-based way if you know of or can come up with a trick that has states in common with the two tricks you wish to transition between. /nPlease note that even if tricks have different levels of excitation, but nevertheless share states with one another, you can just go from the middle of one trick to the middle of the other (or wherever the tricks share the common state), without any "extra" throws.

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick / non-breakaway - Luke Re...

stringslingernm

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick Instructional Video demonstrated by Luke Renner. Note: this video uses a non-breakaway mount. The breakaway is the standard throw for the trick. If you're learning tricks for a sports ladder contest practice the breakaway toss to start the trick the other steps are the same. The forward pass throw used in this demonstration gives extra momentum and spin time for completing the trick. The audio is intentionally left out on this video. Yo-Yo used in the demo is a Yoyofactory Speed Dial. Footage shot in Northwest New Mexico on 8/28/10 by Filmmakers George Thomas and Thomas LaRue. Trick details: Spirit Bomb is a yo-yo trick originated by Jeff Longoria. Trick name originates from the game Dragon Ball Z. Special Thanks and recognition to Ken's World-on-a-String, Sector-Y and all of the sites that pioneered and continue promote the "Art of Yo!" through videos on the web

7 ball cascade personal best update

tomjuggles

This is the longest run I've ever had with the 7 ball cascade up to now. If anyone has tips how to improve the juggling technique or sth else, please comment. Because of the catching speed feels a bit too fast and tiring for me at the moment. filmed on September 21th with Mister Babache silicon coated beanbags. If you throw a ball high enough, you can drop the next one, stop, pick it up, and restart before the high throw returns. 1996.

Collisions on Crosby

hexagonic

I've been working on collisions (as I like to call them) for about three years now. In essence it's when two (or more) balls hit each other. I've also been playing around with taps (where you tap the ball(s) with your hand); this video has most of the three ball tricks I've learnt. Filmed on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool in September 2014. Music is "Trick" by The Rainstick Orchestra
