Met a fascinating man from Brazil, who wished to demonstrate his superb devil sticks skills. Very skilled at the craft, perhaps one of the best in the world. He has practiced an hour a day for his entire life, and often times he practices with a blind fold! He mentioned that he also practices Capoeira. This was shot at Mother's Beach, in Los Angeles, CA.

July 2014 - I was invited to go to the Portugese juggling convention. I went there with Eljoh and we where planning on shooting another 'Devilsticking in'-video. Due to the great athmospere, extremely nice people, and the good weater we didn't get to that part.
As a thanks to the organization of the convention I made an edit of my performance with music from the CD I got from them :)

the twelfth annual diabolo.ca collaboration video celebrating the thirteenth anniversary of the D.ca forum./ndiabolo jugglers from many different countries are here sharing their tricks with all of us. Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles.
