Footage from a summer 2016 trip to Toronto with Ari and Jeff was still on my old camera, so I put together a video in a mad dash before JTV enters archive mode./nWe were all pretty rusty here, but we had a lot of fun. I left many of the drops in, as they seem to have a certain charm./nThanks for the 12 years JTV.

Manipulator passing pattern for four people. The base pattern is 4 count between two jugglers. Below is the Aidan notation for the pattern. This is my favorite new move at the moment. Do the first half of a full matrix and you will find the staff wants to go behind your neck if you don't lean into the second half straight away. Let it go behind you and lean to the left to get it back in front of you (an extra spin on the back can help line up the centre point) and then do the second half of the matrix.

MiniEd - 4-person, extra-walking, period-6 MinuEd variation /nBase pattern: rotating PPSPPS feed, with C walking on 2 and A walking on 4; walking always on a left hand, clockwise Manipulation sequence as MinuEd without the zip-zip part; crossing pop helps to avoid clubbed heads/nNotation in video, underlining indicates walking/nPro tip: Pass to A on beat 1 should be aimed at M's head/n(This took us quite a few festivals to put together. This is what happens in half term when your left at home with a camera and a diabolo. I have been diaboloing for about 3 months and i'm almost onto 2 diaboloing. Enjoy.

This was the first move i learnt, it bruised my shoulder for about 2 weeks learning it but it gave me a good understanding of how a staff behaves on my back. Do a neck roll fairly horizontally and when you can see the staff coming round in the corner of your eye, lean to the left and bring your right shoulder up and catch under your arm with your right hand. After you've got this move try a 1/4 steve.

Notation: __1__2__3 A: ps ps ps ->B B: ps ss ps ->C C: ss ps ss -> A M: sC iA cB -> M The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the carried pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a self from C to C. This takes place while the juggler is walking on four count. 2. "iA": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from C to A. The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator, reads A's line. 3. "cB": The manipulator carries a club to B. We found it useful for the manipulator (who was the feeder for 1 and 2) to say 3 during the carry, for continuity. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Panto gets it's name from the pass from A to B on beat 1, the club is quite close to the back of the manipulators head (He's behind you!).

Aidan Burns' Scrambled V Variation (cA sA iA) The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "cA": The manipulator carries a club to A. 2. "sA": The manipulator substitutes a pass from C to A. 3. "iA": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from B to A. The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. All the jugglers are relabeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. We start the pattern with an unmanipulated pass on beat 1 and on beat 2 with sA. Once the pattern is running the sA happens while M stands close to the Feeder. It is still a substitution, but Feedee C really has to pass to M.

I like this move because people don't normally expect you to go back up the same arm you came down. As the staff is on your neck let it do an extra spin on your back and lean to your left and back so it comes round in front of you. Then lean to the right so it throat wraps back to your left shoulder and hold your arm out and swing it backwards so the staff rolls back up your arm.

Finally after some time, me and my friend Bert Maas made a new juggling video. Thanks to Bert for all the filming and editing, I think he did an awesome job!/nThis is filmed at TU/e (University of Technology) in Eindhoven the Netherlands, where I study now. Unfortunately I almost have no time left for juggling. In the video are some tricks I'm working on. Not extreme hard or anything, but nice to watch I think. Hopefully I can develop some really crazy tricks with this, feedback is welcome!

wow, for such a quick trick this is really hard and doesn't even look that good. sure is fun when you land it though. right wrap->left unwrap->push on string with right hand, stick in front of string, let go of sticks->catch string of the sticks in their original hands, and you're in crackers position.

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick Instructional Video demonstrated by Luke Renner. Note: this video uses a non-breakaway mount. The breakaway is the standard throw for the trick. If you're learning tricks for a sports ladder contest practice the breakaway toss to start the trick the other steps are the same.
