A circus acrobat, Valentin took a bad fall and broke his back when he was seventeen. Dikul said no to the wheel-chair and painstakingly rehabilitated himself, largely with the help of his trusted kettlebells. But he did not stop there. Russian passing troupe, with acrobatic balances. From Finnish TV series called "Russian Circus" approx 1990.
Most notable for the unusual version of the old "runaround with a hat" trick.
We think it may be an earlier generation of the Teslenkos.

Evgeni Biljauer (b. 1947) was one of the 3 top Russian solo jugglers in the latter part of the 20th Century.
This clip is from a TV special called The Great Russian Circus Spectacular. I don't know the actual date, but his age (and clothes) put it in the early 1970s.
