I learnt these trying to get the matrix. The way you lean and shift your body is very similar to how you would for a matrix but easier. I go in from a horizontal pivot because it gets the staff nicly in plane. Once the staff is on your neck lean away from the staff and let it spin around the back of your neck. Then do the same in the other direction to get it back round the front. Useing your shoulders to push the staff round can help.

Video #14 of the [Juggling] series, and the first in over 2 months. As usual, the tricks just reflect what I've been practicing over the past time, and as such, this one is only Balls, Rings, and Clubs (my new Radical Fish clubs to be exact), but all the tricks here are twice as good as in ANY of my later videos. I just landed today back in America, during my one month trip back to Malaysia it was amazing to get to see my family and also be a part of the amazing production PsycuSix.Ψ got to put together./nOn my last day, during my birthday. I got to film a project with Jeremy Lewis of Finding Future to touch on the topic of how juggling has become a part of my life.

I made this video because I wanted to try putting some effort into the production side of things and because I had a bunch of clips I wanted to show certain individuals. Because I had no one in particular in mind to show all of this stuff to, the video has an ADHD feel to it that I like.
For the record, the juggling here is pretty respectably difficult, the straps are respectably intermediate, and the wheel stuff is laughably simple. This is in line with how often I practice each of them as well as the total length of time I've been working on each.

A bluesy tour around the parks of York. Accompanied by some new 4-7 ball tricks that I have been meaning to film for absolutely ages! The balls used are (unsurprisingly) Panda Balls, made by George on his quest for the perfect juggling ball. They feel quite like Sportco Balls but look like pandas so are therefore inherently cooler!
