Met a fascinating man from Brazil, who wished to demonstrate his superb devil sticks skills. Very skilled at the craft, perhaps one of the best in the world. He has practiced an hour a day for his entire life, and often times he practices with a blind fold! He mentioned that he also practices Capoeira. This was shot at Mother's Beach, in Los Angeles, CA.

I'm Toddington from the UK. I started up Diabolo 9 months ago when I started travelling Sri Lanka and India. The internet was terrible so I've been learning from books until now. So glad to be in Japan now and finally find some inspiration online. Here is a video of my exploits so far./nI'm heading to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, Canada next ... probably in that order. Howdy folks,
This is a video of me on Ringling Bros. Circus doing my 20 Cigar Box Slap Stack.
I did this act for the entire 2001 tour.
In Rings 2 and 3 there are 2 elephants, and in Ring 1 is me (I think I did very well of keeping my audience!).
I was a studier of Friesch. and He is where I got this from.
This was filmed in Knoxville Tn.on February 16th, 2001.
It was filmed by my aunt Ann Hughes.
She was visiting the show with my Mom and my aunt Susan.
Ann passed away of cancer in 2006.

I came up with this theme after I realized that me and my audience like 2 different types of things, most of the time anyway (of course there are exceptions). I like small number, smooth and flowy stuff, not necessarily easy, but stuff I can do with 95% confidence. My audience, from what I gathered in public practices and youtube comments, they like the stuff I can sometimes do on a good day. Originally this was going to be a my favorites and best videos. But really, my favorites are what I like, the best is what you like./nSo I hope you like my videos! Make sure to watch part 2 after!

June 2010 SunRise Kendama Mini-Edit/nTwo brand new SunRise Kendama's (one black, one white) arrived in the post today from Czech Republic (courtesy of http://www.kendama.cz/ - thanks Mirek!).
