Boppo's Whiteboard:

btiemann

Here's the "Level Of Excitation" Method. To use it, you only have to know the get-in and get-out sequences for the excited-state siteswap tricks you wish to transition between. Knowing those, you can write transitions both ways.

Monterrey Jam feat. Cinthia Buitrón “La Flaka”

lucasadverse

As a continuation to my “jam” video series, I was able to collab with another prominent Mexican juggler during my study abroad experience in Mexico. This time I have a female juggler for the first time in this series, and I am very honoured that this juggler is La Flaka. La Flaka is known for being the first (or only) juggler in the history to explore the top-of-the-head balance in the midst of tricks. Before her, jugglers had done patterns while holding that club balance, but no one was ever able to actually integrate the top-of-the-head balance with different siteswaps and body rolls. After hanging out with the Unicirclo Laguna crew in Monterrey for a week, I noticed the potential for modern passing tricks with her and I decided to visit them once again in order to record this video. Thank you Tinoco, Flaka and Leonardo Icaza for making this possible and for being extremely kind and welcoming! Full video with better quality and more details on YouTube!

How to juggle 4 balls

NielsDuinker

Niels Duinker teaches you how to juggle with 5 balls. The basic pattern to juggle with 4 balls is the fountain. To juggle 4 balls you will learn to juggle with 2 balls in the right hand and with 2 balls in the left hand. When you put it to together you end up juggling 4 balls! It's a great juggling trick and with this video you can learn it too!

A good run of 5 club backcrosses!

johnnations

This is the longest run of this trick I have done on digital video. Hope it inspires people who are learning 5 club backcrosses; it is taking me a long time to learn, but it's still fun when I get good runs.

Here's the way computers use the state-space to generate transition sequences ... and why that way doesn't work for people! Plus, there's a human-based way if you know of or can come up with a trick that has states in common with the two tricks you wish to transition between. /nPlease note that even if tricks have different levels of excitation, but nevertheless share states with one another, you can just go from the middle of one trick to the middle of the other (or wherever the tricks share the common state), without any "extra" throws.

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick / non-breakaway - Luke Renner (no audio)

stringslingernm

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick Instructional Video demonstrated by Luke Renner. Note: this video uses a non-breakaway mount. The breakaway is the standard throw for the trick. If you're learning tricks for a sports ladder contest practice the breakaway toss to start the trick the other steps are the same. The forward pass throw used in this demonstration gives extra momentum and spin time for completing the trick. The audio is intentionally left out on this video. Yo-Yo used in the demo is a Yoyofactory Speed Dial. Footage shot in Northwest New Mexico on 8/28/10 by Filmmakers George Thomas and Thomas LaRue. Trick details: Spirit Bomb is a yo-yo trick originated by Jeff Longoria. Trick name originates from the game Dragon Ball Z. Special Thanks and recognition to Ken's World-on-a-String, Sector-Y and all of the sites that pioneered and continue promote the "Art of Yo!" through videos on the web

Collisions on Crosby

hexagonic

I've been working on collisions (as I like to call them) for about three years now. In essence it's when two (or more) balls hit each other. I've also been playing around with taps (where you tap the ball(s) with your hand); this video has most of the three ball tricks I've learnt. Filmed on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool in September 2014. Music is "Trick" by The Rainstick Orchestra
