Normally I'm not a fan of people posting their artistic research and normally I would never post anything that wasn't carefully edited. I have no idea why I'm posting this or who would find it interesting but I've been working on a new act and going through old video clips looking for forgotten ideas. This is literally 3:58 of pure improv. One late night, one shot, one song, an empty room, lot of caffeine, a little juggling and a few emotions. There are drops. There are moments that are self-indulgent and overdone. Technical jugglers you will not like this. You guys that are interested in pure process may find it interesting.

I made this video because I wanted to try putting some effort into the production side of things and because I had a bunch of clips I wanted to show certain individuals. Because I had no one in particular in mind to show all of this stuff to, the video has an ADHD feel to it that I like.
For the record, the juggling here is pretty respectably difficult, the straps are respectably intermediate, and the wheel stuff is laughably simple. This is in line with how often I practice each of them as well as the total length of time I've been working on each.

Chapter 5 of "The French-Connection"-Video. Most of the stuff was filmed in Paris, some clips in the Netherlands and some more in Germany. Senor Wences was a brilliant ventriloquist. This is one of his many appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show - he appeared on the show 23 times over its long life. Juggling was part of his act, and there are lots of clips online showing him doing the tray spinning, but this one contains more juggling than I've seen in any other clip.
He lived to age 103, and was still performing (in Sugar Babies) at the age of 90!

Note: I am not a trampolinist! Do not expect awesome stuff... i played on trampoline for 1-2 hours per week, for about 4 months before making this video.
