Elbow Fishtails

Sandy

These can be done forwards and backwards. They arn't true elbow fishtails because there is only one beat of a fishtail at a time with other beats put in to get positioning. If anyone manages complete continuous elbow fishtails please let me know and i'll stick a vid up cos they are DAMN hard. The tricky bit of this move is getting your elbow across 180 fast enough to catch the fishtail but not so fast the staff flys off your elbow. (See also Reverse Elbow Fishtails)

Propeller Fishtails

Sandy

Once you've got fishtails these arn't too difficult. At the end of every beat do 1 vertical propeller (wrap round your wrist) and fishtail back to the other side.

Fishtail Transfers and 360 Fishtails

Sandy

Fishtail transfers are when you go straight from forwards fishtail to backwards (or vice versa). These are a good way of getting your fishies nice and tight. Also once you have these you can do 360 Fishtails cos you just keep turning the same way.

Club Passing

SethUmbenhauer

I've put together a video of a bunch of different club passing patterns. All jugglers are graduates of Messiah College (I still go there). Credit goes to John Chase for teaching the rest of us these patterns and being, by far, the best juggler in the group. If you like this be sure to check out my other juggling videos, especially "Sleeping City"

I have recently purchased these cotton gloves, it does make it had to manlipulate things due to lack of friction, but fun none the less. This little vid was to see what things look like for audience's point of view.

CHILLelagh

Timaeschulze

Songs: Casiokids - Fot I Hose Cake - Love You Madly Sunshine – Top! Top! The Radio! The Underground Railroad To Candyland – Square Ball During our summer vacations, Dennis, Aaron and Niklas visited Tim, Mokai and Tobi in the biggest and most awesome city – if you still do not know it, it’s Wolfsburg We came up with the idea of the title while chilling. Suddenly, three little yellow aliens with purple feet and white spots took us in their spaceship and yelled at us: CHILLelagh!! CHILLelagh! We were not able to resist the awesomeness of these little creatures, ‘cause they cut off our ears and made a drink out of them and drank it while eating a self-made bagel. After this little conversation, we took “CHILLelagh” as the title and they beamed us home, but not without handling back our ears in a jar. 5 Ball Tennis'

MichaelFalkov

A handful of 5 Ball Tennis variations. The first of these is a pattern involving feet that resembles [44][22]3, then standard tennis, next is 7445555, and finally 7535555. The foot thing could be more tennisy, and there are many other variations I could have added. I wanted to include all of the variations suggested (tongue in cheek) in the recDot post that instigated this video (753 & 663 w/outside 3s, and 645555 with the 6 caught and thrown crossed arm on one side). I recorded the 645555 pattern and some others that I thought of in a few runs, but decided to use this clip for now. If there is interest in seeing more tennis variations, I may record a lot more of them.

Hybrid Tricks for Numbers Juggling: Boppo's Whiteboard

btiemann

This is a family of tricks that are part cascade or fountain, and part shower or pseudoshower, which are good tricks for learning numbers juggling. They are stepping stones between the easier tricks you can do, and target numbers trick you wish to do. Pseudoshower?! Twin to the shower, it has even high throws and odd period, instead of odd high throws and even period. The four families of hybrids are, the cascade-shower, the cascade-pseudoshower, the fountain-shower, and the fountain-pseudoshower. The inf. pseudoshower 3: 1818181 could have been added to the lower right section, on top. I like all of these tricks, but haven't seen them described this way before. I also performed 8888181 and 8888881 in Ten Years of Not Juggling, shown on the board. In that film I also performed 6: 99919191, and 5: 88171717, 6: 88881717, 7: 88888817, and also 6: 889191, and 7: 888891, which differ in having shower throws higher than the fountain throws.

Cosmic Diabolo

jugglingstore.com

The Cosmic Diabolo is out of this world! It has quickly become our best selling diabolo. Constructed with a smooth stainless steel axle and sturdy rubber cups, this diabolo is built for speed and durability. Its inset cups, acorn nuts and axle weights insure excellent balance and spin. All of these elements come together for a diabolo that keeps its momentum, in a size that is ideal for multi-diabolo play. MORE INFO: http://www.jugglingstore.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=237

Monobolo prototype 2007

Samuli

Monobolo is one sided diabolo that really works. This is old prototype of it. I wanted to make act with like 20 monobolos in similar way that you spin plates on a stick but with one sided diabolos, I also wanted to be able to do regular diabolo tricks with those as well. I knew there wasn't prop for that in stores so I asked Jürgen Kreisz to do that kind of thing because I really liked his diabolo kits. I think he had plans for that kind of thing already... Anyway I got the prototype and this is basicly first test video of it. Nothing special. Then Jürgen made more and we sold many in FDC. While selling these things we gave it a name monobolo. And that is sweet. Fun toy. I haven't made the act I planned, I bet it would be boring and stupid.
