the twelfth annual diabolo.ca collaboration video celebrating the thirteenth anniversary of the D.ca forum./ndiabolo jugglers from many different countries are here sharing their tricks with all of us. Now it is time to celebrate even that this video is published way late and unfortunately doesn't have all the clips that were sent for the 2017 collaboration project in the first place. Sorry for that but I wasn't able to do much about that. Some say better late than never and some might still dissagree but try to enjoy this Late Reduced remix of Diabolo.ca Collaboration video 2017. Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles.

These can be done forwards and backwards. They arn't true elbow fishtails because there is only one beat of a fishtail at a time with other beats put in to get positioning. If anyone manages complete continuous elbow fishtails please let me know and i'll stick a vid up cos they are DAMN hard. The tricky bit of this move is getting your elbow across 180 fast enough to catch the fishtail but not so fast the staff flys off your elbow. (See also Reverse Elbow Fishtails)

This video is kind of travel guide around Norway. I had to move a couple of times in long trips and i decided to film some easy tricks (coz dad & friend filming...waiting) in some places with nice views.
The diabolists in the acknowledges are those ones from my city that inspired me.

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public.
Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.

Hey everyone.Been working pretty hard to keep up with juggling now I'm back to university. This video covers most of the styles of juggling I currently work on. Credit goes to Lewis for coming up with the insane 771 variations!/nAlso, the current plan is to make David leahy 7 by spring; I have even started filming it! I also hope to be making some pretty big videos in the summer with some shreddies so look forward to that!
