At Central Michigan University last spring, I started the Circus Arts Club. Quite a few of our members had never even picked up any circus hobby before joining the club. We've all made a lot of great friends and have had a ton of fun! It's a great time!

One more year we bring you our Collaboration Video. Spanish diabolo players from all around the country and even abroad team up for an almost 10 minutes video.
This year we pay tribute to Kukutza III (in Bilbao), an occupied cultural center that has been providing a mixed and wide cultural alternative for many years in a working-class neighbourhood. It's been evicted and next demolished in September 2011. http://kukutza.blogspot.com/
We also want to dedicate this to all the people suffering the consequences of a crisis and the ones taking the streets to protest. Don't give up; we can.
Thanks to all the diabolo players involved, and especially to our editor, Blonfu, for his hard work. :)

I've been working on collisions (as I like to call them) for about three years now. In essence it's when two (or more) balls hit each other. I've also been playing around with taps (where you tap the ball(s) with your hand); this video has most of the three ball tricks I've learnt.
Filmed on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool in September 2014.

There are no prerequisites for learning headrolls, grab a ball and start practicing those stalls from day one./nStep 1 is semi-optional./nHead dents WILL occur, they are temporary and should be encouraged/nGood luck, these require patience but they are so so so worth it. Contact Juggling, an ancient art recently codified and popularized by Michael Moschen, is as indefinable as it is magical. Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. These are a nice varient of conveyor belts. First learn to do continuous. When the staff is falling off your last elbow, raise that elbow and bring your other elbow underneath to catch it by sort of hugging yourself. Give the staff a bit of a pop as it comes off so as to give yourself a little more time to catch it. When you've got that add the antispin by moving each point of the move to the antispin points (watch the video).

Do a Steve and as the staff is coming up your arm cross your arms so the arm with the staff on it is behind. Transfer the staff onto your other arm. Meg does an interesting variant passing from her forearms Continuous Steve detail: Forearm Transfer

Another good move to start with, this is just a reverse elbow wrap followed by a forwards elbow wrap but in wall plane (spinning in front of you as if you were facing a wall). As with all contact, don't let go of the staf untill your hand is touching the contact point (in this case the outside of your elbow). This helps give a nice smooth contact roll. As the video shows this move can be done with hands apart (adding an extra beat) or together. It also leads nicly into pivots.
