Video number 19! The second video made entirely with Vegas, and definitely worth the change I think. I changed up my editing style for this video after the failure of Adverse Reaction, and started this video by finding the best music FIRST, then editing the video according to the music. Getting closer to my goal of 10 seconds.
The images at the start from left to right are Enrico Rastelli (1920s), Leon Rabello (1936) and Paolo Bedini (1943).
The machine learning shows a genetic algorithm evolving a multi-layer perceptron neural network controller to perform the balance in 2 dimensions. A 2D rigid-body physics engine was used for the simulation. The performance of each trial was assessed based on the time balanced and the average 'uprightness' of the stack over the duration of the balance.

From Moscow Circus in Finland 1981, Anton & Antoshka, clowning duo, with some great hat and cane (umbrella) moves.
Anton & Antoshka are 'reprise clowns' - ie. they perform short pieces while other acts' equipment is changed over. This duo are highly skilled across several disciplines - juggling, acrobatics, rola bola.

Hi!
As I get better and better at this trick I decided to make a quick video with the few first variations I'm doing and some practice tips.
I hope that this will inspire some people to start practicing it, as I only know of very few who can do it.
I included a list of people that I know of below, if you know more feel free to msg me or comment on the video.

Interception line changes are immediate - the juggler and manipulator swap line before the next beat. So, even if it is a 1 beat intercept with a line instruction after it, the juggler and manipulator change lines first, then read the line change instruction afterwards. They follow both instructions, but the order is important. So if a manipulator line showed at the end of the line: iB => M the juggler who was B up until the last instruction becomes M because of the intercept (iB) and then they stay M because of the (=> M).

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public.
Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.
