[Diabolo] M4U - The Tune

M4U

Hi to all... this is my new video recorded between Oviedo (mostly), Zaragoza and Pescara during the Christmas holidays...what i want to show in this video is "the ideas" behind rather then the tricks itself (the tune in the song that the girl can't remove from her head)...anyway i wish you like it....enjoy little video comment trick at 1:25 - 1:28...Didac (a spanish juggler) show me it during the zaragoza convention and i put it in that combo trick at 1:55 there is a stick's change trick at 2:30 is an integral (or something like that) i try to film it better but my cam is not one of the best and the sticks go too fast like a triple-genocide trick at 2.55 Sergej show me that simple but cool change's sticks at EJC 2008

White Balance

ShaneAndAaron

White balance changes the overall mixture of colors in an image and is used for color correction; generalized versions of color balance are used to get colors other than neutrals to also appear correct or pleasing. However, in this video we are simply balancing white clubs... just watch it.

Help me with my Reverse Backcrosses

PeterJuggler

Hey, I've been working on reverse backcrosses for a while now, and I'm getting short runs of 10-15 catches right now. I'm just wondering if I'm doing them correctly or is there something I should change?

I've only been playing kendama seriously for 5.5 years, so it's obviously rather early for me to be releasing a solo video, so I apologise for my hastiness. However, I hope you enjoy it, including some of the original tricks therein. If your playback device can manage it, please watch in HD/fullscreen to ensure the tricks hit your eyes with full force. Smirk-3 Clubs 2009

ReidandWarren

This is our 3 club piece that helped us win the Silver Medal at the IJA team championships. We have put in a few changes since the IJA, and are continuing to change quite often. We tried to put this up a few days ago, but it didn't come out right. Enjoy!

3 ball stack progress 3 - plus machine learning

peterbone

Getting closer to my goal of 10 seconds. The images at the start from left to right are Enrico Rastelli (1920s), Leon Rabello (1936) and Paolo Bedini (1943). The machine learning shows a genetic algorithm evolving a multi-layer perceptron neural network controller to perform the balance in 2 dimensions. A 2D rigid-body physics engine was used for the simulation. The performance of each trial was assessed based on the time balanced and the average 'uprightness' of the stack over the duration of the balance. http://www.mathworks.co.uk/matlabcentral/fileexchange/36911-machine-learning-balancing-a-stack-of-balls

rhythm - part3 (Pomet Phantom Patterns)

congasious

The final part of the "Rhythm" trilogy, palm spinning as graphic manipulation. I wanted to show also some new ideas that i work on, so some patterns are clean some are not. New techniques used in here: - quarter spins - individual changes of the starting point (point of control) - 1/8 spins (the diagonal spin-spin & anti-spin, the "cross" & the "X") - perpendicular spin-spin and anti-spin - advanced phantom patterns using the techniques above In this video there are 2 Phantom Patterns analyzed in four different ways each (4 balls, 3 balls, 2 balls same colour and 2 balls different colour): Pattern, a) 0:19-1:29 Pattern, b) 2:29-3:32

Reeses2150

Video number 19! The second video made entirely with Vegas, and definitely worth the change I think. I changed up my editing style for this video after the failure of Adverse Reaction, and started this video by finding the best music FIRST, then editing the video according to the music. The change definitely helps I think. Enjoy! http://reeses2150.com/db3/Reeses2150%20-%201987.wmv

What do I need to change in my juggling form

PeterJuggler

I've been juggling for a about a year and a half, and had 5 balls down (I thought) about a year ago, but now I'm having problems with my form. I'm having pain in my right shoulder and arm after a few hundred catches of 5 objects. As a side note, I do have some kind of muscle problem with my right shoulder now. I'm not sure if it's caused my by my bad form, or causes it, or is completely unrelated. I've been to a chiropractor 3 times now for it and I'm just wondering what to change. Thanks.

Laura Bosken- Ball Juggling

LauraBosken

My first official exclusive juggling.tv video because we all know how youtube can be./nWell, this was supposed to be more of a practice video to showcase what I've been working on etc. There are a few fun clips though. I didn't get a chance to get as many cool shots as I wanted but the focus was supposed to be on the juggling more for this one anyways. Lots of penguin tricks (big surprise). I might start working on other 3 ball stuff for a while since change is sometimes a good thing... or so I've heard. So yeah, any advice, trick requests and whatnot are always welcome.

Cascia: Aidan Burns' Scrambled V Variation (cA sC iA)

w.greg.phillips

__1__2__3 A: ps ps ps -> M B: ps ss ps -> C C: ss ps ss -> A M: cA sC iA -> B The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "cA": The manipulator (M) carries a club to A. 2. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a pass from A to C. 3. "iA": The manipulator intercepts a pass from B to A. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Juggled in memory of Aidan Burns by Nick Aikens, Jill Carson, Christian Kästner and Greg Phillips at the Not Quite Pittsburgh Juggling Festival, 9 November 2014.

Lightshow - juggling show by using programmable juggling equipment which, thanks to a built-in diodes LEDs can be lit any color. This gives the opportunity to program the props in a way to shine, flash and change colors, the light showing the music used in the show. Slight change of pace compared to part 1, focusing on tricks which involve use of the floor or other flat surfaces. There are quite a lot of variations but most tend to be pretty boring to look at, so I left a few other things out./nNext week, manipulation style stuff using on the hands!

Panto: Aidan Burns' Scrambled V Variation (sC iA cB)

TLMB

Panto, juggled by Graham, Joanne, Danny and Ed. Part of the Aidan Burns Project to juggle all 27 of his variations to the Scrambled V. Notation: __1__2__3 A: ps ps ps ->B B: ps ss ps ->C C: ss ps ss -> A M: sC iA cB -> M The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the carried pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a self from C to C. This takes place while the juggler is walking on four count. 2. "iA": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from C to A. The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator, reads A's line. 3. "cB": The manipulator carries a club to B. We found it useful for the manipulator (who was the feeder for 1 and 2) to say 3 during the carry, for continuity. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Panto gets it's name from the pass from A to B on beat 1, the club is quite close to the back of the manipulators head (He's behind you!).

The Black Room 4

Ed_Clark

Throw in tricks were a bit of a theme... as was Pingu. Also, we got 1 round of the first galloped manipulator pattern where everybody gets to be in every position. More galloped manipulator patterns (and more rounds) will follow. See also https://www.facebook.com/trickychicksco/videos/178834085959616/ for a gallop manipulation where the manipulator doesn't change, but still very cool. corrected notation Interception line changes are immediate - the juggler and manipulator swap line before the next beat. So, even if it is a 1 beat intercept with a line instruction after it, the juggler and manipulator change lines first, then read the line change instruction afterwards. They follow both instructions, but the order is important. So if a manipulator line showed at the end of the line: iB => M the juggler who was B up until the last instruction becomes M because of the intercept (iB) and then they stay M because of the (=> M).
