Hand balancer "Mostafa the Wazyr" appearing on "The Big Stage" which was a channel 5 TV show on UK TV, circa 1999/2000(ish) - Channel 5 reception was notoriously poor at the time, hence the snow picture. There may be other artifacts introduced by the VHS capture process.

Finally got a new prop, and I got it exactly 1 week before filming, and that week was E3 week. All the gamers out there can figure out how much practice I had that week...but yea, I upgraded to new sticks, string, and length 2 days before filming, so it took a while for me to get used to it, even now it feels weird./nBut yea, the 2nd song was a light fun hearted song (for most of it), so that's why I wasn't too serious about editing, it just seemed to fit well having extended clips. I like it.

After almost one year I finally had the time to film a full diabolo video again. I filmed all clips during my holidays in Mallorca. This is my second "real" diabolo video and the first one with my own tricks.

i used three balls from a juggling handler, hoodie from fruit of the loom, and trousers from uptown brussel, the shoes are also from a knowed handler, just to be clear about my underground roots.
the music is from some dj´s, i really don´t know who created the tune, but it´s often listened in dnb parties, where you almost never find me. THE FLUTE TUNE is the name.

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. This is my first submission for the 2011 IJA Video Tutorial Contest. Most jugglers think that poi spinners are smelly freaks who go to the desert to listen to trance music, but hopefully after watching this you will also see that those of us who choose to can create some quite difficult and technical tricks. /nIf you like my video please vote for it at www.juggle.org between April 1st and 4th. I filmed all these tricks in one morning, so some of them are not clean :(, but I tryed my best, anyway I also put some self invented stuff in this video, enjoy ;).
Oh i almost forgot, this time I also filmed some juggling stuff after a long break of juggling, I really enjoyed it again. I will practise juggling more often again from now on :)

Finally after some time, me and my friend Bert Maas made a new juggling video. Thanks to Bert for all the filming and editing, I think he did an awesome job!/nThis is filmed at TU/e (University of Technology) in Eindhoven the Netherlands, where I study now. Unfortunately I almost have no time left for juggling. In the video are some tricks I'm working on. Not extreme hard or anything, but nice to watch I think. Hopefully I can develop some really crazy tricks with this, feedback is welcome!

Russian passing troupe, with acrobatic balances. From Finnish TV series called "Russian Circus" approx 1990.
Most notable for the unusual version of the old "runaround with a hat" trick.
We think it may be an earlier generation of the Teslenkos.
