Timeshift - Diabolo Video

Dominik

Had to film something before the winter's coming. I didn't practice any numbers lately, so this is mostly a technical 1d, 2d video. Just some integral combos I like, only a few tricks are really new. P.S. Not all clips are at best quality, since I had some issues with the rendering (I was dumb enough to film at two framerates :( ). The quality on YouTube is better. Music by Blackmill

Or you can call it 'Thanks Juggle Art', but that doesn't look as cool. Just a practice vid from Tues 22 feb, so minimal editing. Most of the tricks are new with the diabolo, except the Vertax one where the diabolo goes out of the screen (I saw Will C do it at MJC) and the infinite suicide one. And a juggling TV first: Hamish juggling with up to 5 balls. I'm good to make a tutorial for any trick at all!

Tom's Juggling Music Video

JuggleThis

This is a video set to the Crystal Method track, "Weapons of Mass Distortion". It is intended for the juggling to be enjoyed WITH the music, rather than above it. This started as a rather obscure side project to my usual videos and only really got off the ground recently, when a friend wished me to help him learn how to use his camera. I'd like to thank him for filming most of the bushland scenes, and for drinking most of my coke...

Tom's Second Juggling Movie

JuggleThis

This video was going to have a theme of tennising tricks, but then I got bored and just started screwing around. The result is a video made in a single day, and edited on that day too. I think it's actually pretty good! I tried to get a bit more synchronisation to the music too, and I think for the most part I've succeeded... Any comments would be much appreciated.

Toss Juggling After 17 Months (rings for 2 months)

markconigliaro

I REALLY hate wind. I seriously gave up on this video after I had about 30 minutes of footage but only 10 seconds of tricks, because the rest of the footage was of me waiting for the wind to die down so I can continue. I put my rings in the car then headed to a new area to do the contact juggling video. Then I found out the new area is blocked off with trees so there was barely any wind. So I went back and grabbed my rings and shot most of this video down there./nI always forget something, last month I forgot those behind the back catches, this month I forgot some multiplex 4 ring starting tricks. I should write down all the tricks I have to do before I head out.../nAs for this video, I like how it came out besides the choppiness when I do 4 and 5 rings./nThe song is Coming Undone by Korn.

Trap N' Roll (One Year of Club Juggling)

lucasadverse

I decided to try clubs and this is a compilation of all the best doable ideas I had in one year of practice. Most of these ideas involve traps and rolls because I've always thought this style of club juggling looks dope thanks to the people mentioned in the video. I would like to especially thank Jorge Vilchis and Yerel Ahumada who are two great friends of mine who helped me in the beginning. I started by following their styles and I wouldn't have created most of my tricks if it wasn't for them. Lastly, I would like to point out that the reason I progressed so fast was that I focused on these types of tricks, and because of that I can't even do backcrosses or juggle 4 clubs LoL. Tricks With Hats: Backcross to head catch

TricksWithHats

Backcross to head catch - Throw the hat behind your back, and catch it on your head. Like most throwing moves, this is a variation on the Throw to head - so it's probably a good idea to learn that first! Hold the hat in your right hand using an inside grip, spread your fingers out nice and wide as you would for a normal throw to the head. Swing your arm out to the side, so that the crown of the hat is pointing downwards. Bring your arm behind your back and release the hat so that it does a nice, high, slow spin above your left shoulder. As the hat descends, look up into it and catch it in the same way that you would for a standard throw to the head. Top Tip: The catching part is easier if you turn your head towards your left shoulder just before the catch. Oh, and obviously learn this throw from both hands... From the TricksWithHats archive

Tricks With Hats: Backseat

TricksWithHats

Backseat - A pair of throws and catches that Mike discovered while sitting in the back of a car. Grab the side of a hat in a pinch grip, and carry it down in front of you so the crown is downwards. Flick it up so it spins 360 degrees, and catch it in another pinch grip at the back of the hat. Quickly push it up and forward, spinning the hat 180 degrees and catch in a pinch grip once again. Stick it back on your head. To perform the trick most effectively aim for one slick movement rather than two separate parts. From the TricksWithHats archive

Tricks With Hats: Foot to foot

TricksWithHats

After getting the hat to your foot (the knock to foot is the most common way, but there are plenty of others) you can hop and quickly remove your foot from the hat. Quickly get your throwing foot onto the ground and place the other foot inside the hat. As you can see from the video the hat stays fairly still and it's you that does all the movement. This video of the hat being spun as it is thrown between the feet should give you some ideas for variations on this trick.

Tricks With Hats: Sweavo's Hatstand

TricksWithHats

The hatstand made its debut at chocfest 7, where I was compering. After a period of prototyping and refining, I built the version that worked. I demoed this a couple of times then it broke. I replaced the elastic and set it up for the big day, used it on stage and it worked, then broke next time I used it. Be prepared to spend significant tinkering time in between uses, and for frequent breakdowns. That said, it's never let me down when I've needed it. All in all I've found it a great way to get chicks[1], if you don't count the long evenings spent honing the design and strewing the house with geeky construction equipment, and the fact you'll be laughed out of most nightclubs if you go in wearing a topper. But on stage it works, and it has drawn admiring glances from fellow jugglers and even won us a bag full of croissants on one occasion. Was It Really Worth the Wait?

MasterKatra42

I haven't had very many creative ideas recently. Most, if not all the tricks in this video were other people's tricks, or ideas they had for me to try. Let's see if you can match the jugglers with the tricks I did because of them. WES PEDEN vs ILIA POLIAKOV - Jolleyball on the Stage

jumpropemaster

This is the best moment in the entire show, and my most brilliant idea - to play jolleyball on stage! Idea cames to my head on the night before the performance. Nobody did not know about that, include people whom I worked with on scenario/nThanks to Evgenia for the video! Thanks to Wes for great improvisation)

Yeah, He's back

Freddy_Sheed

really the most important out of the two I have released today, This one is for my Girlfriend, Sarah, If It wasn't for her, I don't think i'd be making this video, or working on my Intermed' club routine, or anything really, She's been incredibly supportive and interested in my juggling, she even works on juggling herself now, So this video, is dedicated to her, for being the best girlfriend I could possibly ask for. [Diabolo] M4U - The Tune

M4U

Hi to all... this is my new video recorded between Oviedo (mostly), Zaragoza and Pescara during the Christmas holidays...what i want to show in this video is "the ideas" behind rather then the tricks itself (the tune in the song that the girl can't remove from her head)...anyway i wish you like it....enjoy little video comment trick at 1:25 - 1:28...Didac (a spanish juggler) show me it during the zaragoza convention and i put it in that combo trick at 1:55 there is a stick's change trick at 2:30 is an integral (or something like that) i try to film it better but my cam is not one of the best and the sticks go too fast like a triple-genocide trick at 2.55 Sergej show me that simple but cool change's sticks at EJC 2008

[Tutorial] Magic Knot to Whip Catch

Reeses2150

Another tutorial for the IJA Tutorial contest 2011. A pretty easy trick once you learn it, and one that I was able to teach someone to do reliably within the space of an hour and a half. One of my favorite and most crowd pleasing diabolo tricks.
