A good place to start before moving onto the steve. Do a neck roll and as the staff comes around onto your shoulder, drop that shoulder and let the staff roll onto your arm. Raise your arm with the staff (when the staff gets onto your arm it should be just below shoulder height, when the staff finnishes in your hand it should be just above head height) so that it rolls up it and into your hand.

Since many years i working on the ContactStaff. Although i can say that it is the best staff what is made and balanced especially for contact technique, i still haven't been satisfied. At the last two months i made two innovations, what makes this staff the ultimate contact staff with the new connection and the special aluminum alloy, mix with the experience of weighting and creating contact staffs.

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. Here's a physics lesson that shows you how to calculate the relative heights of siteswap throws. How much higher is a 7 than a 6? or a 9 than a 5?

The six-ball siteswap 999441. Note that there are 3, 2, and 1 throws of each different height, which have heights of 3^2, 2^2, and 1^1. The sum of the throws are then 3^3 + 2^3 + 1^1, which is the square of the third triangular number (1+2+3)^2. How about that? This works in general, by the way.

This was my entry into the 2007 SRC yo-yo competition - the first time I've tried a counter-weight based routine. Unfortunately, the silver backdrop makes some of the action rather difficult to see.

I went to California in 2003 with my juggling partner, the multi-talented Kerry Silson. He's a musician, acrobat and horseback performer as well as juggler. The original tapes of this footage were eaten by a JVC camcorder (beware!) and the backups were destroyed by two Macintosh iBook computers working in separate countries. Hope this file (from a Video CD) is watchable.
