Sling Ring Harpsichord Performance

SlingTrue

A game branded as Gyro Ring in the past, here is a fabulously addicting prop composed of five brass washers (beads) strung onto a stainless steel ring. To activate this prop you spin the brass beads and turn the larger ring to keep them going in perpetual activity. The ring can then be manipulated in various ways to perform a large range of tricks! This is a improv set slowed to 1/2x. These rings were popular in Japan and New Zealand circa 1995-1997 but remained widely unknown to much of the rest of the world. A small selection of high quality rings are available online at my website SlingTrue.org Please contact me if you have any insights or questions

7 club passing sequence with coloured clubs

brook_roberts

Alex and I do a sequence where the 3 green clubs are isolated in 4 different patterns. Start off with 7-club 3-count with the passes green. Then do 8677867 with the passes as green. Then 978 versus 972 with double passes as green. Then 551 popcorn (a2a67) versus 5 count popcorn with trelfs as green. Then back to 7 club 3-count. As they are all ground state, the first 2 switches just work, and doing: 966|7867867 for the first 7867867|978972 for the second preserves the colours. For the third, to keep the colours we did three transition throws: 978972|867|a66a7a6267 For the fourth transition, to keep the colours we did: a66a7a6267a66a7|b6266|966 I'd love to see similar ideas!

JustLarry Slap stacking 20 Cigar Boxes on ringling

justlarry

Howdy folks, This is a video of me on Ringling Bros. Circus doing my 20 Cigar Box Slap Stack. I did this act for the entire 2001 tour. In Rings 2 and 3 there are 2 elephants, and in Ring 1 is me (I think I did very well of keeping my audience!). I was a studier of Friesch. and He is where I got this from. This was filmed in Knoxville Tn.on February 16th, 2001. It was filmed by my aunt Ann Hughes. She was visiting the show with my Mom and my aunt Susan. Ann passed away of cancer in 2006. Enjoy Larry

I Still Juggle I Swear

Reeses2150

After all these years. Holy crap. it's been 8 YEARS since Kinetic Potential, and now, FINALLY I've gone and had the time and will to make juggling music video number 22. Good god life can suck sometimes keeping you away from doing awesome things on video for the internet heh. Though really, it's my own fault. The whole idea of the big music video series is that I would only do my absolute best tricks in them, and really only make new ones when I have a bunch of new personal bests to put in. Problem is, I hit my peak and plateaued with that 6 ring flat front qualify in the last vid, and so I feel like making another video is unjustified cause it's gonna have the same if not worse tricks in it. Welp, it's reflection of my current abilities since then, sooooo, guess it's better to showcase my decline/plateau than to be hidden forever XD

Tricks With Hats: Hat Spinning - Basic Spin

TricksWithHats

Hold the hat by the brim with your left hand so that the crown of the hat is facing away from you. Take the stick in your right hand. With a flick of your wrist, throw the hat up slightly so that it starts spinning anti-clockwise. As the hat descends, hit the brim with the stick slightly to the right of center, such that the stick curves slightly upwards and outwards. This will cause the hat to spin as it rises into the air. As it descends again, repeat the hitting action. The idea of the basic spin is to keep the hat in the air by hitting it repeatedly with the stick in this manner. I find it helps if you look at the top portion of the inside of the hat. Adjusting the spin rate and direction: Hitting the hat nearer the center will give you a slower spin and more height, nearer the edge will give you a faster spin but less height. Obviously striking the left side of the brim will reverse the spin and cause the hat to go clockwise. From the TricksWithHats archive

I respect passion

Wis

When I originally edited this video in 2012 I didn't manage to fit 1080p into 400MB, so I could not upload it to juggling.tv. I have decided to upload the 720p version because this was an important video for me, should be here./nOriginal desccription: 'Shot during the summer 2012 in Wroclaw, Gorzkowice and Ostrorog (Poland). I know the tricks are a bit too sloppy some times, but I had enough of filming. Dedicated to everybody that fights against stupid injuries to keep improving, within their possibilities./nMusic: Amon Tobin - Stone Street Ghostpoet - Morning April March - Chick Habit'

Prayer Steve

Sandy

This move can be done with or without the extra spin on the back, i like to vary it. Keep your hands together in a prayer position all the time you are doing this move or it doesn't count. If you can't get this move try continuous steves first, they will get you used to the motion.

The juggler who was B is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. All the jugglers are relabeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. It´s easier for the manipulator tells AND 1 2 3 as the cC actually happens before count 1. also take a look at the original file: http://juggling.tv/15101

The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. All the jugglers are relabeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. We start the pattern with an unmanipulated pass on beat 1 and on beat 2 with sA. Once the pattern is running the sA happens while M stands close to the Feeder. It is still a substitution, but Feedee C really has to pass to M.

Trick With Hats - Vanishing Foot

TricksWithHats

This is surprisingly effective when done well, it can really look like your leg has dissapeared! Unfortunately it's very angle sensetive, it only really works when viewed from the front. Incase you can't work it out from the video, here's how you do it. Hold the hat by the brim, with the opening resting against the top of your thigh, move it down until it covers your foot and hides it from view. As you raise the hat again, bend your leg at the knee. Et voila! Your leg has vanished! Lower the hat again, straightening your leg as you do so. Ooh look! Your leg has re-appeared! Top tips: Only raise the hat as far as your knee, and keep your foot hidden behind your thigh. A few minutes practice infront of a mirror and you'll soon get the hang of it. Bonus points: Make both legs dissapear, at the same time...
