This is surprisingly effective when done well, it can really look like your leg has dissapeared! Unfortunately it's very angle sensetive, it only really works when viewed from the front. Incase you can't work it out from the video, here's how you do it. Hold the hat by the brim, with the opening resting against the top of your thigh, move it down until it covers your foot and hides it from view. As you raise the hat again, bend your leg at the knee. Et voila! Your leg has vanished! Lower the hat again, straightening your leg as you do so. Ooh look! Your leg has re-appeared! Top tips: Only raise the hat as far as your knee, and keep your foot hidden behind your thigh. A few minutes practice infront of a mirror and you'll soon get the hang of it. Bonus points: Make both legs dissapear, at the same time...

5,6 and 7 ball juggling in 1987 at the National Circus of Austria (Althoff-Jacobi). Believe it or not, but when I performed 7 balls in these years I had never seen any other juggler doing this before. I used tennisballs filled with rice. 1987 was my only booking in a circus, usually I performed in night-clubs, casinos and cabarets with low ceiling. You notice that I didn't juggle very high.

I filmed this video in June this year in the malaysian Capital "Kuala Lumpur" in some nice locations. Hi! As I get better and better at this trick I decided to make a quick video with the few first variations I'm doing and some practice tips. Stack tricks while use only the hands, no rolling. Next week is the toss/cigar influenced video, then two weeks later I plan to make a little bonus video with some stuff I have been playing with this week.

Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles. Music is 'Heartbeats' by The Knife.

Now the truth can be told. Simmering rivalry was put to the test in the only way that kendama gentlemen may respectfully settle matters.
