Continuous Antispun Conveyor Belt

Sandy

These are a nice varient of conveyor belts. First learn to do continuous. When the staff is falling off your last elbow, raise that elbow and bring your other elbow underneath to catch it by sort of hugging yourself. Give the staff a bit of a pop as it comes off so as to give yourself a little more time to catch it. When you've got that add the antispin by moving each point of the move to the antispin points (watch the video).

Body Wrap Fishtails

Sandy

These are something i came up with while on a beach in Thailand so i have fond memories for this move. When passing the staff behind the back give it a little pop up to keep it spinning and to make it a bit easier to catch.

Foot Fishtails

Sandy

As you can see in the vid the right leg works very much like the left arm in a conveyorbelt. When you get the staff onto the foot you need to turn into the staff so you end up in backwards fishtails. Once your into the fishtails you really need to turn your whole body each half beat to get it smooth (no easy task when your balancing on one leg and trying not to make jerky movements with the other).

Matt Hall is looking forward to BJC/IJC

juggle_sensei

Ori Roth and company asked to put together a little something for the Israel Juggling Convention, so I threw this together with the wonderful assistance of my lovely wife and Choji-kun at school. Seeing as I'm going to the British Juggling Convention right before Israel, and given that I'm teaching similar workshops at both gatherings, I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. Note: I'll be teaching a similar set at Barullo in Mexico in June! Banzai!

[Tutorial] Magic Knot to Whip Catch

Reeses2150

Another tutorial for the IJA Tutorial contest 2011. A pretty easy trick once you learn it, and one that I was able to teach someone to do reliably within the space of an hour and a half. One of my favorite and most crowd pleasing diabolo tricks.

Whipcracking Workshop with Pete Gamble

Tomfooleryish

I took the SittCom Circus Crew, who've been learning and developing circus skills over the past few years, to the Milton Keynes Juggling Convention in November 2010. While we were there, I bumped into an old friend from Wales, Pete Gamble. He agreed to let me film him teaching my young people the art of whipcracking. Enjoy!

The Berlin Workshop / Ministry of Manipulation

LCD

October 2010 saw a collaboration between the Ministry of Manipulation and Aragorn Boulanger, aimed at teaching advanced level illusion techniques combining Contact juggling and dance. The 5 days of workshops at the Juggling Center Berlin, run by Ed Adams and Aragorn, provided everyone with a huge amount of information and ideas. Everything Aragorn was teaching could be directly applied to the techniques that Ed was teaching. The perfect collaboration... So, where does it all go to from here...? Filmed, edited and produced by myself at Rock and Roll Robot studios. www.ministryofmanipulation.com www.rockandrollrobot.co.uk

Club Passing

SethUmbenhauer

I've put together a video of a bunch of different club passing patterns. All jugglers are graduates of Messiah College (I still go there). Credit goes to John Chase for teaching the rest of us these patterns and being, by far, the best juggler in the group. If you like this be sure to check out my other juggling videos, especially "Sleeping City"

2 handed shoot the moon yoyo trick - Luke Renner

stringslingernm

Trick featured in the video is two handed "reach for the moon" aka "shoot for the moon". Trick tips: 1) Practice each individual hand before combining the trick. 2) Use a fixed axle. 3) There is no easy way to master this trick other than practicing everyday. Special thanks to Dale! Yo-yos used by Luke Renner are generic and cost around $1.50 for two. Filmed in Northwest New Mexico on 8/28/10 by filmmakers George Thomas and Thomas LaRue. Music by JAH ROOTS - Steppin Out Of Babylon/ Track "Ya, Ya, Yo" Creative Commons License Attribution 2.5 Generic.

Happy Oree Friends - Pretty Trippy Party trailer

orka

A full length collaboration film featuring mostly Israeli and non Israeli jugglers and performers. The dream like story takes the viewer from the carpentry where Ori himself was created by his father to a surrealistic journey. While traveling in his own mind using his imagination Ori meets several bizarre characters, each one master a different Juggling prop. It took a year and a half to create the film which was shot in Israel, Italy, Spain and Europe. P.T.P combines original editing style, Psychedelic animation and soundtrack. The plot is not laniary and hazy at times which gives a sense of confusion and fantasy. The film is highly recommended to those who appreciate visual art, music and Juggling. Participants (A-Z): Aaron Tobiass, Ayal Benin, Bar Mualem, Boaz Nir-Shallom, Daniel Bareket, Dekel Azulay, Edgar Groll, Lorenzo Mastropietro, Neta Oren, Noam Geller, Ori Roth, Pavel Evsukevich, Ron Beeri, Tavo Del Prato, Uri Zelig, Yaniv Eliash, Yuval Roth. 55:19 minutes, WMV/MP4 PAL 805/820 MB, 12 euros
